| dc.description.abstract | Cıngırt Kayası Doğu Karadeniz Bölgesi’nde Ordu/Fatsa İlçesi Yapraklı Köyü sınırları içinde bulunan konumuyla, Antik Çağda Pontos olarak adlandırılan bölgede yer almaktadır. Antik kaynaklarda VI. Mithradates Dönemi’nde Doğu Karadeniz Bölgesi’nin kontrolü ve savunma stratejisi kapsamında oluşturulan Phrourionların varlığından söz edilmektedir. Ağırlıklı olarak yerleşimin zirve kesiminde yürütülen kazı çalışmalarından elde edilen verilere dayanarak Cıngırt Kayası’nın VI. Mithradates Dönemi’nin Phrourion karakterli yerleşimlerinden birisi olabileceği önerilmektedir. Makalenin konusunu oluşturan materyal, 2012-2014 yılları arasında devam eden kazılarda yerleşimin zirve kesiminde yürütülen çalışmalardan ele geçen unguentarium parçaları arasından seçilmiş profil veren örneklerdir. Çalışma kapsamına alınan örnekler, kazı verileri ve paralel materyal ışığında tipolojik ve kronolojik açıdan değerlendirilerek, katalog ve levha bilgileriyle sunulmaktadır. Doğu Karadeniz Bölgesi’nde az sayıda yürütülen kazı çalışmalarından birisi olan Cıngırt Kayası’ndan ele geçen söz konusu materyalin tanıtılması ve değerlendirilmesiyle; konuyla ilgili ilk bilimsel verilerin paylaşılması ve bölge arkeolojisine katkı sağlanması amaçlanmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Cıngırt K ayası i s l ocated i n a r egion called “ Pontos” i n a ncient t imes, w hich i s currently within t he b orders o f Y apraklı v illage, i n t he t own o f F atsa, city o f O rdu i n t he Eastern Black Sea Region. Sources from the Antiquity talk about Phrourion that were built to control and defend the Eastern Black Sea Region during the reign of Mithradates VI. Based on t he e xcavations conducted predominantly o n t he s ummit o f C ıngırt K ayası, i t i s suggested that C ıngırt K ayası w as p art of a s ecurity c hain t hat consisted of Phrourion to provide control and d efense of t he Pontic Region d uring t he reign o f M ithradates V I. T he material that constitutes the subject of study was discovered from excavations carried out at the top of the settlement during the ongoing excavations between the years 2012-2014. They are p resented w ith t heir catalogue a nd p late i nformation, t hrough t he e valuation o f t heir typology and chronology based on data from the excavations and comparisons with similar materials. There have been few excavations conducted in the Eastern Black Sea Region, and thus this study aims to share one of the first findings of the unguentariums obtained from Cıngırt Kayası excavations and to contribute to the studies related to the unguentariums through the Black Sea Basin. | en_US |
