Özet
Giderek artan ve önem kazanan şehir tarihi araştırmaları, araştırmacıları bu alana çekmiştir. Buna bağlı olarak son zamanlarda şer'iye sicilleri üzerine yapılan çalışmaların sayısında oldukça artış gözükmektedir. Bu çalışma ile şer'iyye sicili/mahkeme kayıtları vasıtasıyla, Manisa'nın 1700'lü yılların ortasındaki idari, siyasi, sosyoekonomik ve kültürel yapısını bilimsel bir yaklaşım ve metotla incelemeye çalıştık. Böylece, şehzadeler şehri Manisa özelinde, üç kıtaya yayılmış geniş topraklara sahip Osmanlı Devleti'nin şehir yapısıyla alâkalı çalışma ve tespitlere katkıda bulunmayı amaç edindik. Araştırmanın konusu, 1760-1764 yılları arasında Manisa şehrine ait H.1174-1175 tarihli ve 213 No'lu Manisa Şeriye Sicili'nde yer alan dava ve kayıtlardır. İncelediğimiz defterde yer alan kayıtlar, 18. yüzyılın ikinci yarısında Manisa çevresinde, o dönemdeki şehir merkezi, mahalle, kaza ve köy gibi yerleşim yerleri ile buradaki insanların sosyal, ekonomik ve kültürel yaşamları hakkında bilgiler vermektedir. Biraz daha açacak olursak bu kayıtlardan, o dönemde, insanların sahip oldukları ferdî haklardan, aile hayatına yönelik ilişkilere; bunların yanı sıra çeşitli eşyalar, ziraî ürün ve aletler, hayvanlar ve bu eşyaların fiyatlarını içeren bilgilere; ayrıca dönemin ekonomik durumuna, çarşı ve pazarlarındaki ticaretlerden, hangi meslek kollarının var olduğu bilgilerine ulaşabiliriz.
Increasing and gaining importance of the city history surveys, has attrached researchers to the field. Accordingly, the number of recent studies on court records have increased considerably. With this study, we tried to examine the administrative political socioeconomic and cultural structure of Manisa in the mid 1700s with a scientific approach and method through court records. Thus, we aimed to contribute to the studies and determinations related to the city structure of the Ottoman Empire especially in princes city Manisa. The subject of the research is the cases and records Manisa city Registry No.213 H.1174 - 1175 dated 1760 - 1764 which is located in Manisa. In the second half of the 18th century, the records in this book we reviewed provide information about the settlements such as city center, neighborhood, district and village and the social, economic and cultural life of the people around Manisa. In addition, from these records, we can access the personal rights of people at that time, family relations, as well as information about various goods, agricultural products and equipment, animals and prices of all these, the economic stuation of the period and the occupations in the markets and bazaars.
