Özet
Çalışmamızın amacı debonding işleminin ağız kokusuna olan etkisini incelemektir. Çalışmamız üç gruptan oluşmaktadır. Birinci grup 20 bireyden ve bir ây içerisinde ciebond işleminden geçecek bireylerden oluşmaktadır. İkinci grup da 20 bireyden ama bala sabit tedavisi süren hastalardan oluşmaktadır. Son grup ise kontrol grubu olarak hiçbir tedavi görmeyen hastalardan oluşmaktadır. Bireylerin ağız kokusu, gingival ve plak indeksi aynı periodontolog tarafından değerlendirilmiştir. Ölçümler debonding öncesi (Tl), debondingden 1 hafta sonra (T2) ve 4 hafta sonrası yapılmıştır (T3). Aynı dönmede bu işlemler diğer braket ve kontrol grubuna uygulanmıştır. Bilgiler üç yönlü ANOVA festi İle değerlendirilmiştir. Fark çıktığı durumlarda Bonferroni testi uygulanmıştın Gruplar arası farklara Mann -Whitey U testi ile bakılmıştır. Bireylerde debonding sonrası ağız kokuşunda belirgin olarak bir azalma bulunmuştur (P0.05). Bir ay sonraki ölçümlerde debonding ve braket gruplarımın değerlerinde bir fark bulunamamıştır (P0.05), Kontrol grubunun ölçümlerinde bii' fark yoktur (Pö.05). Gruplar arası kıyaslandığında tüm ölçüm zamanlarında fark bulunmuştur. (PÖ.Ö5). Braketleme ağız kokusunda artışa sebep olmaktadır. Ancak, debonding sonrası âğız kokusu tekrar- kabul edilebilir bir seviyeye gelmektedir. Ağız sağlığım değerlendirmede ağız kokusu da Gl ve Pl gibi bir belirleyici gösterge olabilir. The objective of this study was to evaluate the affect of debonding on oral malodor. This study consists öf three groups. The first group (debonding group) included 20 subjects with brackets and would be debonded in a month. The second group (bracket group) included 20 subjects who still undergone orthodontic treatment with bracket's. The fast group is a control group who did not receive orthodontic treatment. Oral malodor measurements> Gingival and Plaque Index scores were recorded in each group by same periodontist. Measurements were taken in first study groups before debonding (TJ), 1 week after debonding (T2) and 4 weeks after bonding (T3). At the same time the measurements were applied to the second and control group. Data's were evaluated with three way ANOVA test, Bonferroni test were assessed when significant differences between the measurements were exist. Mann-Whitney U- test was used to compare both groups. Oral malodor, significantly decreased after debonding (P<0.05). One month after debonding the parameters were stable on debondtftg group and bracket group. (P>0.Q5). Control group did not show differences in all measurements. The comparisöh between groups showed significant differences between groups (p<0.05). Bonding brackets cause to increase on oral malodor. Howeverafter debonding immediately oral malodor reached to the acceptable scores. Oral malodor could be another indicator to evaluate the oral health as Gingival and Plaque index scores.
