dc.description.abstractGlokomun cerrahi tedavi yöntemlerinden biri olan trabekülektominin uzun dönem komplikasyonları arasında skleral flep erimesi ve buna bağlı bleb yetersizliği de sayılabilir. Makalemizde trabekülektomi sonrası geç dönemde gelişen flep erime- sinde, perikardiyal greft ile yama uygulanan iki olgu sunulmuştur. Birinci olgu, 69 yaşında erkek, primer açık açılı glokom nedeniyle 4 yıl önce trabekülektomi ameliyatı yapılmış bir hastaydı. İkinci olgumuz olan 62 yaşında erkek hastaya, 18 ay önce psödoeksfoliatif glokom nedeniyle trabekülektomi yapılmıştı. Kliniğimize başvuru sırasında fleb erimesi ve bleb bölge- sinde koroid reflesinin alınması üzerine, her iki olguya bleb yetmezliği gelişme riskinden dolayı steril perikardiyal greft ile yama işlemi uygulandı. İki olgumuzda da ameliyattan sonraki bir yıllık takipte komplikasyon olmadığı ve bleblerin fonksi- yonel olarak çalıştığı görüldü. Glokom cerrahisi sonrası geç dönemde gelişen fleb erimesinde perikardiyal greft uygulaması, tedavide alternatif bir yöntem olarak düşünülebilir.en_US
dc.description.abstractLate-onset complications such as scleral flap melting and bleb dysfunction may occur after trabeculectomy, one of the sur- gical treatment techniques of glaucoma. We report two male patients aged 69 and 62, with late- onset flap melting who were managed with pericardial graft transplantation. The patients had undergone trabeculectomy four years and eighteen months ago, respectively. Due to melting of the flaps and observation of choroidal tissue reflection from the sclera, the pa- tients were operated with patching of the blebs with pericardial tissue. No early of late postoperative complications were noted and the blebs were functional during the two year follow-up of both patients. The use of a pericardial graft may be considered as a safe alternative treatment in late onset bleb melting after trabeculectomy.en_US
