Özet
1927 ve 1931 yıllarında yapılan genel seçimlerle Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi'nin 3. ve 4. dönem milletvekilleri seçilmiştir. Konya, bu dönemlerde 11 kişilik kontenjanı ile en çok milletvekili çıkaran illerden biridir. Milletvekillerinin genel özelliklerine bakıldığında Osmanlı'nın son dönemi ile Milli Mücadele'de ve sonrasında önemli vazifelerde bulunan kişilerdir. Meslekî olarak bakıldığında çoğu hukukçudur. Bunu yanı sıra tüccar, öğretmen, çiftçi ve mülkiye kökenli milletvekilleri de bulunmaktadır. Ekonomik ve siyasi alanda önemli olayların yaşandığı bu yıllarda seçilen milletvekilleri mecliste ülkenin ve Konya'nın sorunlarına çareler üretmeye çalışmışlardır. Özellikle 1929 dünya ekonomik buhranından sonra buğday fiyatlarındaki düşüş nedeniyle Konyalı çiftçiler olumsuz etkilenmiştir. Çiftçinin zararını en aza indirgemek için 1932 yılında Buğday Koruma Kanunu çıkarılmıştır. Yine Konya'da 1927'den 1935'e kadar aralıklarla devam eden kuraklık nedeniyle susuz kalan Konya Ovası'nın canlanmasını sağlamak için Konya Ovası Sulama İdaresinin yeterli hale getirilmesini sağlamak adına mecliste girişimlerde bulunmuşlardır. Sulama konusu 1934 yılında kadar milletvekilleri tarafından sık sık TBMM gündemine getirilmiştir. 1932-1935 yıllarında da somut adımlar atılmıştır. 4. dönem TBMM'de halkın sorunlarına daha çok temas edilerek etkili çözümler üretilmeye çalışılmıştır.
With the election in the 1927 and 1931, deputies of Grand National Assembly of Turkey has elected. Konya, is the one of the city which has the most quota of deputy with it's 11 deputy quota at these eras. As looked generally peculiarities, the deputies are the same people who worked at the last eras of the Ottoman Empire and National Struggle era. As looked vocational mostof the deputies are lawyer. Besides there are deputies who are the merchants, teachers, farmer and originly civil service people. At these years that happened important events at economic and political fields, deputies has tried to solve Konya's and country's problems. Especially after the 1929 global economic crisis, because of reduction of the wheat prices Konyall farmers affected negatively. To degrade the loss of the farmers has maden Conservation Law for Wheat in 1932. However they attempted to qualify the Irrigation Management of Konya to revieve the Konya Plain that due to intermittent drought at Konya at assembly from 1927 to 1935. It took the concrete steps between 1932-1935. In the fourth era Grand National Assembly of Turkey tried to solve the public's problems with the mention to those.
