Özet

There are a lot of parameters which affects the accuracy of the Finite element analysis (FEA) of a sheet metal forming processes. One of the most important parameter is the friction coefficient between the dies and sheet. In order to ensure the effects of the other parameters to the process accurately, the real values of the friction coefficient should be entered to the FE software. Hence, the friction coefficient in the process should be determined by experiments which represent the real forming process. In drawing process the friction coefficient is generally determined for the flange and the radius regions and for draw beads by three different tests. In this study an apparatus was designed and manufactured that could be determined the friction coefficients in the flange and radius regions together in a single experiment. So it will be able to save from time and costs. Copyright © 2013 MS&T'13®.
