The concept of Industry 4.0, which is intensely processed in our country and in the world, is actually seen as a digitalization process that includes all sectors. The Telecommunications Sector is the main sector that has made the greatest contribution to the spread of Industry 4.0. The aim of this study is to be examined the relationship between telecommunications sector with the growth of Turkey's economy. In the first part of the study, Industry 4.0, in the second part, the telecommunication sector is examined. Using the data between 2008 and 2020, GDP (Gross Domestic Product) as an economic indicator and XDSL (digital subscriber line, number of subscribers using internet) as an indicator of telecommunications, number of mobile subscribers, Fixed Investments and Mobile investments are considered. With the Johansen cointegration approach, the evaluation was made on GDP, Mobile Subscribers, XDSL, Fixed Investment and Mobile Investment by being choosen the ARDL model. Stability was obtained by performing ADF(The Augmented Dickey-Fuller) Unit Root Test and the study was subjected to Granger Causality Test. According to the results of the Granger Causality Test conducted in this study, a two-way causality relationship between fixed investments and GDP, and a one-way causality relationship from GDP to XDSL were determined. The increase in the fixed investments of the telecommunication sector increases the GDP and the increase in the GDP causes the increase in the fixed investments. Also, the increase in GDP increases the number of XDSL subscribers. No relationship was found between mobile investments and number of mobile subscribers with GPD. It was determined that the study was in parallel with the studies and methods in the literature.
