| dc.description.abstract | Orhan Duru (1933-2009), 1950 kuşağının diğer bütün yazarları gibi Sait Faik Abasıyanık'tan etkilenerek yola çıkmıştır. Buna rağmen Duru, bu kuşak içinde farklı bir yere sahiptir. Ele aldığı konular bakımından bu kuşak yazarlarıyla benzerlik taşısa da bunları işleyişi ve sunuşu oldukça özgündür. Edebî yaşamının başından sonuna kadar Duru, öykülerinde çok uç noktalarda devrik cümle kullanmayı bir öncelik olarak seçmiştir. Bu tutum, onun dilde yeni formlar edinmesini sağlamıştır. Öykülerinde bolca mizah ve bu mizaha bağlı olarak kara-mizaha varan ağır ironiler kullanmıştır. Bunu yaparken kelimelerin çağrışım gücünden yararlanmıştır. Deyimlerin yapısını bozarak yerleşik kalıpları kırmayı amaçlamıştır. Buna bağlı olarak oldukça uzun cümleler kurmuştur. Böylesi bir dili oluştururken Karagöz ve Meddah'tan, Evliya Çelebi'den ve Mercimek Ahmet'ten yararlanmıştır. Varoluşçuluk felsefesinden etkilenip ele aldığı konuların yanı sıra gerçeküstü ve fantastik yönelimlerde de bulunmuştur. Edebiyatımızın çeşitlenmesi adına bilim-kurgu öyküleri kaleme almıştır. Bireysel temaları işlediği kadar toplumsal algıyı da bütün yönleriyle vermiştir. Yazdığı denemelerde ise hem konu hem de üslûp olarak öykülerinden uzaklaşmamıştır. Bu sebepten dolayı Duru'nun bütün eserlerindeki algı, bütüncül bir özellik taşır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Like all other novelist of the 1950s generation, Orhan Duru (1933-2009) set out as a novelist with Sait Faik Abasıyanık influence. However, Duru has a distinguished place in this generation. Although he is similar to other novelist in his generation in terms of the issues he handles, his treatment and presentation of issues is rather unique. Throughout his entire literature career, Duru has chosen to use extremely inverted sentences as a priority in his stories. This attitude has enabled him to acquire new forms in language. In his stories, he used a lot of humor and in relation with this humorous style he also used very heavy ironies that are almost like black humor. When doing so, he made use of the associative meaning of words. He tried to break established structures by changing the structures of idioms. In accordance with this, he formed very long sentences. Establishing such a language style, he made use of Karagöz, Meddah, Evliya Çelebi and Mercimek (Lentil) Ahmet. Besides the topics he handled with the influence of existentialism philosophy, he also had surreal and fantastic tendencies as well. He wrote science-fiction stories to enrich the versatility in our literature. Besides individual themes he treated, he also presents social sensation in all dimensions. In his essays, he did not go astray from his stories both in terms of issue and style. Therefore, the sensation in Duru?s all works has a monolith characteristic. | en_US |
