Özet
Bu araştırma, Konya Ovası Ana Drenaj Kanalı ve buna bağlı 4 ayrı drenaj ka nallarındaki su kalitelerinin belirlenmesi ve bunların sulamada kullanılabilirliğinin tes- biti amacıyla 1991-1992 yılında yapılmıştır. Drenaj kanalları güzergahları üzerinde seçilen 17 ayrı noktadan 12 ay süreyle aylık su örnekleri ve bu sularla sulanan bazı ara zilerden de toprak örnekleri alınmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, toprakların çoğunluğu tuzlu ve sodyumlu toprak özelliği göstermiştir. Drenaj kanallarındaki suların büyük bir kısmının 3. ve 4. sınıf sulama suyu kalitesinde olduğu ve sulamada kullanılmasının uygun olmadığı tespit edilmiştir.
This research was carried out to determine water quality of the main drainage canal and four drainage canals which connects with the main drainage canal in Konya Plain during 1991-1992. In addition, this water was investigated from the stand point of suitability for irrigation. Water samples were taken from 17 different points once a month during the 12 months on the drainage canal routes. Soil samples were collected from the areas where drainage canals water was used as irrigation water. According to the results of the investigation, most of the soil samples are saline and alkali. Drainage canals water are generaly belong to 3th and 4th irrigation water qu ality class. Consequently this water was found not to be suitable for irrigation.
