Özet
Bu çalışma; Konya İli'ne bağlı Sarayönü ilçe merkezinde bulunan geleneksel konut ve oda yapılarının incelenmesini, bu inceleme üzerinden geleneksel yapı özelliklerinin saptanmasını ve bölgedeki koruma sorunlarının tespit edilerek çözüm önerilerinin geliştirilmesini amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde; çalışmanın amaç, kapsam yöntem ve literatür araştırması anlatılmıştır. İkinci bölümde; Sarayönü ilçe merkezinin fiziksel ve tarihsel oluşumu ve gelişimi incelenmiş, yerleşimin topografik, coğrafi ve fiziksel özelliklerinin belirlenmesiyle birlikte genel çalışma sahası sınırları da tespit edilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde; genel çalışma sahası içerisinde belirlenen iki inceleme alanındaki, toplamda yirmi üç adet konut ve üç adet oda yapısı incelenmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde; incelenen konut ve oda yapıları üzerinden, geleneksel yapı özellikleri ve nitelikleri ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Beşinci ve son bölümde; çalışmalardan elde edilen veriler ışığında, yerleşimin koruma sorunları tespit edilmiş ve bu sorunlara bağlı olarak bölgenin özelliklerine uygun koruma önerileri geliştirilmeye çalışılmıştır.
This study aims to examine the traditional houses located in downtown Sarayönü, a county of Konya province, and the room structures within such houses, and identify the traditional architectural characteristics of such buildings based on such examination and offer a solution proposal by determining architectural protection issues in the area. The study is composed of five chapters. In the first chapter, the purpose, scope, method and literature research of the study have been stated. In the second chapter, the physical and historical development of Sarayönü county center has been examined, and the boundaries of the general research area has been identified by determining the topographical, geographical and physical characteristics of the settlement. In the third chapter, we have examined a total of twenty three houses located in two area determined within the general research area and three types of rooms therein. In the fourth chapter we have tried to establish the traditional architectural features and qualities of such houses and rooms examined in the previous chapter. In the fifth and the last chapter, we have identified the architectural conservation issues of the settlement in the light of the facts revealed thus far and tried to offer conservation suggestions that are compatible with the characteristics of the area.
