Özet
Bu tez aşırılığın kaynakları arasında yer alan terörün yaygın bir çeşidi olan dini
motifli terör kavramı üzerinde durmakta ve dini motifli terör oluşumlarının zamanla
Afganistan ve Orta Doğu’da, günümüzde ise yeni odak noktasının Afrika kıtası
olduğunu iddia etmektedir. Dini motifli terör örgütlerinin iki kutbu olarak karşımıza
çıkan İslam Devleti ve El Kaide oluşumlarının mücadele sahası haline gelen kıtada
mevcut sorunlar ve karmaşık yapı dikkate alındığında yakın gelecekte bölgesel
yansımalarının ortaya çıkacağı ileri sürülmektedir. Kıtada uzun süredir faaliyet
gösteren Eş Şebab örgütünün yanında El Kaide bağlantılı ve yeni bir yapılanma olarak
karşımıza çıkan JNIM grubunun oldukça aktif olarak faaliyetlerine devam ettiği
görülmekle birlikte örgüt hakkında yeterli çalışma bulunmamaktadır. Bu tez bu
konudaki literatüre katkı vermeyi amaçlamaktadır. Orta Sahel bölgesindeki sorunların
yansımalarına, terör örgütlerinin bölgede gelişimine ortam sağlayan faktörlere,
aşırılıktan kaynaklı ekonomik ve güvenlik sorunlarına yanıt aranmıştır. JNIM grubunun
gerçekleştirdiği terör eylemleri, örgütün askeri stratejisi, bölgesel yapılanması ve
gelecek hedefleri de değerlendirilmiştir
This thesis dwells on the notion of terror with religious motives being a common type of terrorism, which is among the sources of extremism, and argues that religiousmotivated terrorist formations over time in Afghanistan and the Middle East, and today the new focal point is the African continent. Considering the problems and the complex structure of the continent, which has become the battlefield of the Islamic State and AlQaeda organizations, which appear as the two poles of terrorist organizations with religious motives, it is alleged that regional considerations will emerge in the near future. Alongside the al-Shabab organization, which has been operating on the continent for a long time, the JNIM group, a new organization linked to Al-Qaeda, seems to continue its activities very actively. However, there are not enough studies about the organization. This thesis aims to contribute to the literature on this subject. It was sought answers to the repercussions of the problems in the Central Sahel region, the factors that provide the environment for the development of terrorist organizations in the region, and the economic and security problems faced by the people because of extremism. The terrorist acts of the JNIM group, the military strategy of the organization, its regional structure and future goals were evaluated
