Abstract
Abdurrahman Ebu'l-Kâsım ez-Zeccâcî (ö. 337) Arap Dili ve Edebiyatıyla ilgili olarak, gramer, morfoloji, fonotik gibi alanlarda çok sayıda kitap yazmıştır. Onun Arap dili ve edebiyatıyla ilgili olarak yazdığı en önemli kitabı ?el-Emâlî? adlı eseridir. Bu kitabın Arap edebiyatında, özellikle şiir ve lügat sahasında çok önemli bir yeri vardır. Ayrıca kitapta gramer, ve morfoloji ilmiyle ilgili açıklamalar da dikkat çekmektedir. Bu özellikleriyle al-Amâlî'ni Arap Dili ve ebiyatında çok büyük önemi vardır.
Al-Zajjaji wrote many books on grammar, morphology, phonology, prosody, and law. His al-Amâlî is one of his most important books. It is a general introduction to Arabic Literature and grammar written for studuents seeking to learn the language. The uncomplicated and condensed nature of al-Amâlî indicates al-Zajjaji's interest in providing a simple instructional manual for learners of Arabic Literature, while the commentaries provide the tool to uncover the concepts behind the rules, shedding light on the contribution of such works to the development of Arabic lierature and gramer in this period. The al-Amâlî became a very popular text, and a number of commentaries were written on it. At last al-Amâlî is a important book in Arabic Literature.
