Abstract
Eksternal kök rezorpsiyonu diş yapısının dramatik bir şekilde kaybıyla sonuçlanan bir durum olarak kabul edilir. Kök rezorpsiyonlan; fizyolojik lokal, sistenıik ve idiopatik nedenlerle olabilir. Başarılı bir tedavi rezorpsiyonu durdurur veya geciktirebilir. Bu vaka raporunda dental travma geçirmiş 20 yaşında bir erkek hastadaki hızlı ilerleyen eksternal kök rezorpsiyonu sunulmaktadır.
External root resorption is considered as a multifactorial process that sometimes results with dramatically loss of tooth structure. The factors associated with root resorption have been listed as physiological, local, systemic and idiopathic. Successful treatment can arrest or retard the resorptive process. This case report emphasizes the rapid progressive external ro¬ot resorption, 20-year old male who suffered dental trauma.
