dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada; infertilite tedavisinde yüksek inguinal varikoselektomi, yöntemi ile, subinguinal mikrocerrahiyle varikoselektomi, komplikasyonları, semen parametreleri ve hormon profillerine etkileri açısından karşılaştırılmıştır. Yüksek inguinal yöntemle (Grup 1) 50 olguda 70, subinguinal mikrocerrahiyle (Grup 2) 50 olguda 77 varikoselektomi yapıldı. Grup 1'de olguların sekizinde (%16,6) nüks oluştu ve 5 olguda hidrosel gelişimi (%10,4) saptandı; grup 2'de 2 olguda (%4) nüks saptandı. Grup 2'de hiçbir olguda hidrosel gelişimi gözlenmedi (P<0.05). Grup 1 ve grup 2'de; preoperatif ve postoperatif ortalama sperm sayıları, hareketlilik ve serum hormon düzeyleri arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunamadı. Ancak grup 2'de Serbest Testosteron düzeyindeki artış grup 1'e göre istatiksel olarak anlamlı bulundu (P<0,05). Subinguinal mikroskobik cerrahi lokal anesteziyle uygulanabilmesi, nüks oranının ve hidrosel oluşumunun düşük olması nedeniyle varikoselektomide alternatif bir yöntemdir.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study results of two different varicocelectomy method were compared regarding complications and the effects on semen parameters and hormon profiles in treatment of infertility. Seventy high inguinal ligation of testicular vein in 50 patients (group 1) and 77 subinguinal microsurgical method in 50 patients (group 2) were performed. In group1; eight recurrent varicocele (16,6%), five hydrocele (%10,4) formation were detected in group 1, only two (4%) recurrence were found in group 2 (P<0.05). Hydrocele formation wasn't detected in group 2. Regarding semen parameters and serum FSH, LH and PRL levels, there was no statistically significant difference between preoperative and postoperative results in two groups. But postoperative increase in free testosterone level in group 2 is statistically significantly different from group 1 (P<0.05). Subinguinal microsurgical varicolectomy is an alternative method because of easy applicability, lower reccurence and hydrocele formation rate than the high inguinal method.en_US
