Özet
Türkçe öğretimi programları, ilköğretim okullarında millî eğitimin amaçlarına uygun olarak çeşitli etkinliklerle öğrencilerin kelime hazinesinin zenginleştirilmesini öngörmektedir. Bu çalışma, söz konusu amacın Konya ilinde öğrencilerin aktif kelime hazinelerinin ne kadar zengin olduğunu ölçme amacına yönelik olarak planlanmış deneysel bir araştırmadır. Araştırmada betimleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bu yönteme uygun olarak Konya Ereğli Atatürk İlköğretim Okulu altıncı sınıf öğrencilerinden, bir deney grubu oluşturulmuş, bu grup öğrencilerine 2007-2008 öğretim yılı boyunca beş ayrı konuda farklı zamanlarda yazılı anlatım uygulaması yaptırılmıştır. Yazılı anlatım uygulamalarında kullanılan kelimelerden elde edilen söz varlığı öğrencilerin aktif kelime hazinesi olarak mütalaa edilmiştir. Tez; ön söz, giriş, iki bölüm, sonuç ve öneriler ile kaynakçadan oluşmaktadır. Sonuçta tespit edilen aktif kelime hazinesinin arzu edilen zenginlikte anlamlı olmadığı kanaatine varılmış, eksikliğin öğrencilerin pasif kelime hazinesinin okuma ve dinleme, aktif kelime hazinesinin de anlatma ve yazma becerilerinin çeşitli etkinliklerle geliştirilmesi yoluyla giderilmesi önerilmiştir.
Turkish teaching programs; anticipate enriching students? vocabulary in Primary Schools through various activities pertaining to the aims of National Education. This study is an experimental survey which was planned well adopted for a purpose to measure such issue that active vocabulary of students in Konya are how rich. In this research description method was used. An experimental group was formed who attend the 6th class in Atatürk Primary School of Konya Ereğli. The students of this group were made to do written composition application upon five different subjects during 2007- 2008 education year. Vocabulary that were got out of words, were used in written composition applications, were considered as active vocabulary of the students. This thesis is composed of preface, introduction, two chapters, conclusion and suggestions, and bibliography. As a result, it was convicted that the active vocabulary was not adequately rich and meaningful, as that was desired, therefore it was suggested overcoming inadequacy through improvement reading and listening in passive vocabulary and narrating and writing skills in active vocabulary by some activities.
