| dc.description.abstract | Bu araştırma, ilköğretim ikinci kademe öğrencilerinin sosyal bilgiler derslerinde bilgisayar destekli öğretimin öğrenci başarısına etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmış deneysel bir araştırmadır. Araştırma, Konya ili Çumra ilçesi Merkez Atatürk ilköğretim Okulu'nda yapılmıştır. Bu okulda bulunan dört altıncı sınıf arasından kura yöntemi ile 6/A ve 6/C şubeleri araştırma grupları olarak belirlenmiştir. Adı geçen şubelerden yine kura yöntemi ile, 6/A şubesi deney grubu, 6/A şubesi de kontrol grubu olarak belirlenmiştir. Uygulamaya geçmeden önce araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin kişisel özelliklerini, sosyal bilgiler dersine karşı ilgilerini ve bilgisayar konusundaki ön bilgilerini öğrenmek amacıyla küçük bir anket yapılmıştır. Öğrencilerin araştırma kapsamında seçilmiş olan konu hakkındaki ön bilgilerini öğrenmek içinse ön-test uygulanmıştır. Uygulama esnasmda öğrencilere sosyal bilgiler altıncı sınıf müfredatı içinde yer alan "Türkiye'miz" ünitesi altı haftalık zaman zarfında anlatılmıştır. Adı geçen konu deney grubu öğrencilerine "Bilgisayar Destekli Öğretim" yöntemi ile, kontrol grubu öğecilerine ise geleneksel yöntemle anlatılmıştır. Uygulama bittikten bir süre sonra, öğrencilerin geldikleri noktayı öğrenmek için her iki gruba da son-test yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular SPSS 10.0 for Windows programıyla değerlendirilmiştir. Deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin ön-test puanlarının karşılaştırılmasında bağımsız-t testi tekniği kullanılmış sonuçta, 0,05 manidarlık düzeyinde anlamlı bir fark ortaya çıkmamıştır. Bu noktadan hareketle araştırma öncesinde grupların bir birine denk olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamına alman deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin son-test puanlarının karşılaştırılması ve deney grubundaki öğrencilerin ön-test ve son-test puanlan arasındaki karşılaştırmalar da yine "t testi" ile yapılmış sonunda 0,05 manidarlık düzeyinde anlamlı bir durum ortaya çıkmıştır. Araştırma sonunda bilgisayar destekli öğrenim gören öğrencilerin geleneksel yöntemle öğrenim gören öğrencilere nazaran daha başarılı ve derse karşı daha ilgili olukları sonucuna varılmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | This study is an experimental research to determine the effect of computer supported education on the success of secondary school students in social knowledges classes. The research was made at Central Atatürk Primary School in Çumra in Konya. 61 K and 6/C classes were selected out of four classes in this school by drawing lots for the research. Again, drawing lots class 6/A was chosen for the experiment group and class 6/C was chosen for the control group. A small inquiry was applied to find out the students' interest in social knowledge classes and their resent knowledge about computer before starting the research. In order to find out the students' present knowledge about the selected topic involving the research a pre-test was given to them. During application the unit "Our Turkey" which is in the social knowledge syllabus for sixty year classes was presented within a six-week period. The aforementioned topic was presented to the experiment group using computer supported method and as for the control group the conventional method was used. Some time after the application a final test was given to the two classes to determine the last point they achieved. The acquired data was evaluated by means of SPSS 10.0 for Windows program. An independent t-test technique was used to compare the pre-test grades of experiment and control group student. As a result a meaningful 0,05 significant level difference was discoverend. From this point on, it was concluded that the groups before the inquiry were almost equal to each other. T-test was again used to compare both the experiment and control group students' final test result and the experiment group students' initial and final test results. And at the end a meaningful situation at 0,05 significant level came about. At the end of the research it was concluded that the student having computer supported education were more successful and more interested in the lessons than the students having conventional method education. | en_US |
