Özet
Semboller, insanın doğuşundan beri var olup yaşantımızın hemen her alanında kendini
gösterip bulunduğu çağın, dönemin, milletin, kültürüne ve sanatına işlemiştir. Çağın kültürüyle
bağlantılı olarak ortaya çıkıp mağara resimlerinden beri süregelen resim sanatı içinde yer alan
semboller bu alanda önem kazanmıştır. Bununla beraber Türk kültüründe sıkça kullanılan insan
ve hayvan figürleri yerini İslam dini etkisiyle, bitkisel sembollere bırakmıştır. Bu bulgular
sonucunda Türk kültüründe bitki sembolü; dönemler ile incelenip, konu başlıkları altında
toplanarak ilgili literatüre sunulmuştur. Türk kültürünün her dönemini ele alan bu tez çalışması,
dönemlerin konuyla bağlantılı olarak, kültürel yapıya katkı sağlayan eserleri yorumlamış ve
resim sanatının gelişim sürecinden de bahsederek örneklerle açıklamıştır.
“Türk Kültüründe Bitki Sembolizmi ve Resim Sanatına Yansıması” konulu yüksek lisans
tezinde; Türk kültüründeki bitkisel sembollerin, kültür çerçevesinde resim sanatına etkileri
incelenmektedir. Bu araştırma Türk kültürünün başlangıcından itibaren bitkisel sembollerin
kullanım alanlarına, sanatçılarına ve anlamlarına bakıldıktan sonra resim sanatına yansımaları
1911 yılından 2022 yılına kadar sınırlandırılmıştır.
Genel tarama modelinin esas alındığı araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntem ve teknikleri
kullanılmıştır. Nitel verileri toplamak için “doküman incelemesi ve görüşme” yönteminden
yararlanılmıştır. Görüşmelerde veri toplama aracı olarak, telefon ve mail kullanılmıştır.
Symbols have existed since the dawn of humanity and have been inscribed in the culture, art, period, nation, showing ıtself in almost every aspect of our lives. Symbols that emerged in connection with the culture of the era and continued since the cave painthings and included in the art of painting have gained importance in this field. However, human and animal figures, which are frequently used in Turkish culture, have been replaced by plant symbols with the influence of Islam. As a result of there findings, the plant symbol in Turkish culture; it has been examined with different periods and gathered under the titles and presented to the relevant literatüre. This thesis study, which deals with every period of Turkish culture, interpreted the works that contributed to the cultural structure of the periods in connection with the subject and explained with examples by talking about the development process of the art of painting. After looking at the usage areas, artists and meanings of herbal symbols from the beginning of Turkish culture, their reflections on the art of painting were limited from 1911 to 2022. Qualitative research methods and technigues were used in the study, which was based, on the general scanning model. “Document review and interview” method was used to collect qualitative data. Telephone and e-mail were used as data collection tools in the interviows.
