Özet
Tarım sektörü, Türkiye’nin ekonomik gelişme sürecine değişik kanallardan katkı sağlamaktadır. Sektör, ülke nüfusunun önemli bir bölümünü istihdam etmekte, ülke nüfusunun beslenmesi için zorunlu gıda maddelerini üretmekte, sanayi sektörüne girdi sağlamakta, sanayi ürünleri için talep yaratmakta, tarımsal ürünler ihracı yoluyla toplam ihracata katkıda bulunmakta, ulusal gelirin önemli bir kısmını oluşturmakta ve göreli fiyatlar yoluyla sınai birikimi desteklemektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’nin ekonomik gelişme sürecine tarımın yaptığı katkıların somut olarak ortaya konulmasıdır.
Agriculture contributes Turkey’s economic development process in different ways. This sector employs a considerable proportion of the population, supplies necessary food to feed population of country, provides inputs for industrial sector, creates demands for industrial products, contributes exportation by exporting agricultural products, constitutes a considerable proportion of national income and supports the industrial accumulation by relative prices. The aim of this study is to concretize the contributions of agriculture in Turkey’s economic development process.
