Özet
Millî Mücadele Dönemi’ne bakıldığı zaman Kuvâ-yı Milliyeciler, yalnız İtilaf Devletleri ile değil, Damat Ferit Paşa Hükümetleri ve Millî Mücadele’ye muhalif basın ile de mücadele etmişlerdir. Nitekim gerek Sultan Vahdettin gerekse de Damat Ferit Paşa Hükümetleri Anadolu’da düşmanla mücadele eden Kuvâ-yı Milliye’nin önüne geçebilmek için azamî derecede gayret sarf etmişlerdir. Kuvâ-yı Milliye Hareketi’ni, İttihatçılık, Bolşeviklik, asilik, dinsizlik vb. şekillerde suçlayarak halkın bu harekete katılmasının önüne geçmek ve bu suretle halk desteğinden mahrum olacak Kuvâ-yı Milliye Hareketi’ni kolayca tenkil edebilmek istemişlerdir. Fakat Kuvâ-yı Milliye aleyhinde yapılan bu propagandalar Anadolu’da kısmî kargaşaya sebebiyet verdiyse de nihaî olarak amacına ulaşamamıştır.
The Nationalist Forces struggled not only with the Allied Powers but also Damat Ferit Pasa Government and opponent press in the National Struggle Era. As a matter of fact, Sultan Vahdettin and Damat Ferit Pasa Government used most of their efforts to prevent the Nationalist Powers who were struggling with the enemy in Anatolia. The opponents accused the Nationalist Forces of being supporter of Committee of Union and Progress Party, Bolshevist, rebellious, irreligious etc. They tried to prevent the public’s joining to the movement and by this way they wanted to criticize the Nationalist Movement easily without public support. Although propagandas against the Nationalist Forces caused partial anarchy, they were unable to reach the main goal.
