The history of the statue dates to the Stone Age. Since the relevant age, human beings have begun to make sculpture and figurines. In this regard, the human belief has been regarded as of the substantial factors in creating sculptures throughout history. As deduced from the researches, it can be seen that the art of sculpture has passed into a very different production style in terms of subject and material. Corresponding to the discovery of the fire by human beings in very ancient times, mine was also discovered with obtaining and developing the desired the shape of the metals. Archaeological findings have revealed that human being, along with the melting and shaping of metal and its materials discovered over time, produced objects for their uses in daily life from bronze casting in the early ages. In parallel with the development and change of bronze production since the first ages of human history, technical developments in bronze sculpture have also been inevitable. As deduced from archaeological findings, it might be noted that the wax removal technique and the bronze sculpture casting method have a history starting from BC. Herewith the current study, it was addressed and oriented on the technological advances as consequences of the machines replacing the human power with the Industrial Revolution, the impacts of computer-aided production on the design and application processes in the art of sculpture, as well as the potential contributions to current bronze material uses processes in the field of bronze sculpture. It was aimed to examine the traditional methods and alternative methods in computer-aided production environments with today's technology together with the traditional methods, and to determine the manufacturability of the traditionally made bronze sculptures and the prototypes of the designs modelled in the computer media or the newly produced bronze-added printing material and their returns to the bronze sculpture. The main theme of the current research is based on the wax removal technique, which is one of the mold-casting techniques used in the art of sculpture, and the contributions of bronze casting and 3D printers developing in today's technology to bronze sculpture.
