Özet
Birden fazla tiroid kanserinin aynı zamanda tiroid bezinde oluşumu nadir bir durumdur ve collision tümörü olarak bilinir. Burada 43 yaşında nodüler guatr tanısıyla izlenen bir vakada postoperatif histopatolojik incelemede sağ lobda hurthle hücreli kanser ve tamamlayıcı tiroidektomiyi takiben de sol lobda papiller mikrokarsinom tespit edilen bir vaka sunulmuştur.
Existence of more than one thyroid carcinomas in the same gland is rare and known as collision tumor. Here, we report a 43 year old woman operated for nodular goiter and diagnosed with hurthle cell carcinoma in the right lobe histopathologically. A micropapillary carcinoma was also detected in the left lobe after complementary thyroidectomy.
