Özet
Bu çalışmanın ana konusu Yunan mitolojisinde ay tanrıçası, yeraltı tanrıçası, büyücü, cadı vb. farklı rolleri olan tanrıça Hekate'nin üç boyutlu formlarda sagar pişirim tekniği kullanılarak yorumlanmasıdır. Çalışma, Tanrıça Hekate'nin mitolojik gücünü seramik sanatında yeniden yorumlayarak tarihsel ve kültürel bir perspektif kazandırmayı ve aynı zamanda, sagar pişirimi tekniğinin seramik sanatındaki yaratıcı potansiyeline dikkat çekerek bu alandaki sanatçılar için ilham verici bir yaklaşım sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmanın Birinci bölümünde, Yunan mitolojisi kısaca ele alınmış ve ana konu olan Tanrıça Hekate'nin mitolojik ve sembolik yönleri incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde, sagar pişirimi tekniği üzerinde durulmuş, uygulama aşamaları ve kullanılan malzemeler ayrıntılı bir şekilde anlatılmıştır. Üçüncü bölüm, seramik yüzeyler üzerinde gerçekleştirilen astar denemeleri ve sagar pişirim tekniği ile yapılan uygulama çalışmalarını kapsamaktadır. Bu bölümde ayrıca farklı pişirim denemeleri sonucunda elde edilen yüzey efektleri detaylandırılmıştır. Dördüncü ve son bölümde, Hekate'nin çeşitli mitolojik rollerinden esinlenerek tasarlanan özgün seramik formların sagar pişirim tekniği ile uygulamaları yer almaktadır.
The main subject of this study is the interpretation of the goddess Hecate, who has different roles in Greek mythology such as moon goddess, goddess of the underworld, sorceress, witch, etc., in three-dimensional forms using the sagar firing technique. The study aims to provide a historical and cultural perspective by reinterpreting the mythological power of the Goddess Hecate in ceramic art, and at the same time, to offer an inspiring approach for artists in this field by drawing attention to the creative potential of the sagar firing technique in ceramic art. In the first part of the study, Greek mythology is briefly discussed and the mythological and symbolic aspects of the Goddess Hecate, the main subject, are examined. In the second part, the technique of sagar firing is emphasized and the application stages and the materials used are explained in detail. The third chapter covers the slip trials on ceramic surfaces and the application of the sagar firing technique. This chapter also details the surface effects obtained as a result of different firing trials. The fourth and final section includes the applications of the original ceramic forms inspired by the various mythological roles of Hecate with the sagar firing technique.
