dc.description.abstractAmaç: Çalışmanın amacı, COVID-19 pandemisinde hemşirelerin izolasyon önlemlerinin ve bakım davranışlarının belirlenmesidir. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipteki bu çalışma Türkiye’de herhangi bir sağlık kurumunda çalışan 527 hemşire ile Mayıs-Ağustos 2020 tarihleri arasında yürütüldü. Verilerin toplanmasında “Kişisel Bilgi Formu”, “İzolasyon Önlemlerine Uyum Ölçeği” ve “Bakım Davranışları Ölçeği-24” kullanıldı. Verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler (oran, frekans ve Ort±SS), t testi, varyans analizi (ANOVA) ve Pearson momentler çarpımı korelasyonu testleri kullanıldı. Bulgular: Çalışmaya toplam 527 hemşire katılım sağladı. Hemşirelerin, COVID-19 pandemisi dönemine ilişkin çalışma özelliklerine bakıldığında %54.3’ünün salgından önceki süreçte izole edilmiş ve %53.9’unun pandemi sürecinde COVID-19 tanısı kesin konulmuş hastaya bakım verdiği, %60.9’unun COVID-19 tanısı konulmuş hastalara bakım verirken kendini kısmen yeterli gördüğü saptandı. Ayrıca pandemi döneminde hemşirelerin %54.5’inin görev yaptığı birimin değiştirildiği, %49.9’unun acil serviste ve %36.8’inin 40 saat ve üzerinde çalıştığı belirlendi. Hemşirelerin %71.2’si pandemi sürecinde koruyucu ekipmana ulaşmakta zorluk yaşamadığını ifade etti. Hemşirelerin ölçek puan ortalamaları sırasıyla “İzolasyon Önlemlerine Uyum Ölçeği” 83.39±4.11, “Bakım Davranışları Ölçeği-24” 5.32±0.49 olup, ölçeğin alt boyut puan ortalamaları “güvence” 5.29±0.52, “bilgi-beceri” 5.52±0.48, “saygılı olma” 5.30±0.56 ve bağlılık” 5.20±0.61’dir. İzolasyon Önlemlerine Uyum ve Bakım Davranışları-24 ölçekleri arasında ilişki saptanmadı. Sonuç: Çalışmaya katılan hemşirelerin, COVID-19 pandemisinde izolasyon önlemlerine uyumu ve bakım davranışları algıları yüksek bulunmuştur. COVID-19 pandemisi sonrasında da izolasyon önlemlerine uyumun ve olumlu bakım davranışı algılarının sürdürülmesi için hizmet içi eğitimlerin devamlılığı önerilmektedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractAim: The purpose of the study is to determine the isolation precautions and care behaviors of nurses in the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: This descriptive type study was conducted between nurses working in any health institution in Turkey and between May and August 2020. The data collection used “Personal Information Form”, “Scale Compliance with Isolation Precautions” and “Caring Behaviors Inventory-24”. In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics (ratio, frequency and mean±SD), t-test, analysis of variance (ANOVA), Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient tests were used. Findings: A total of 527 nurses participated in the study. When the study characteristics of the COVID-19 pandemic period were observed, 54.3% were isolated in the process before the outbreak, and 53.9% were diagnosed with COVID-19 in the pandemic process, while 60.9% were partially adequate when treating patients who were diagnosed with COVID-19. It was also determined that 54.5% of nurses were replaced in the pandemic period, 49.9% were in the emergency service and 36.8% were working 40 hours and more. 71.2% of nurses said they had no difficulty reaching protective equipment during the pandemic process. The “Scale Compliance with Isolation Precautions” of the nurses has mean 83.39±4.11. The “Caring Behaviors Inventory-24” of the nurses has mean 5.32 ± 0.49, with the order of sub-size meaan of the scale “assurance” 5.29 ± 0.52, “knowledge-skills” 5.52 ± 0.48, “respect” 5.30 ± 0.56 and “commitment” 5.20 ± 0.61. It was determined that there was no relationship between the “Scale Compliance with Isolation Precautions” and Caring Behaviors Inventory-24”. Results: It was observed that nurses attending the study had high levels of compliance with isolation precautions and caring behaviors scores in the COVID-19 pandemic. It is suggested that isolation precautions and the perception positive care behaviors be maintained after the COVID-19 pandemic.en_US
