dc.description.abstractHastanelerin etkinliği konusu, sağlık harcamalarının arttığı, kaynakların kısıtlılığını koruduğu, müşteri beklenti ve isteklerinin arttığı günümüzde, çok daha önemli hale gelmiştir. Bu çalışma, Türkiye'deki doğumevi hastanelerinin etkinlik düzeylerinin tespit edilmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ayrıca, hastanelerin hizmet üretiminde kullandıkları temel girdiler ve çıktılardan hareketle; doğumevi hastanelerinin tam etkin konuma gelebilmesi için azaltmaları veya artırmaları gereken kaynakların belirlenmesi, çalışmanın bir diğer amacını oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma kapsamına 22 doğumevi hastanesi alınmıştır. Hastanelerin etkinlik düzeylerini ölçmek için Veri Zarflama Analizi (VZA) tekniğinden faydalanılmıştır. VZA yöntemiyle toplam etkinlik (CRS), teknik etkinlik (VRS) ve ölçek etkinliği olmak üzere üç farklı etkinlik puanı hesap edilmiştir. Çalışmanın bulgularına göre; doğumevi hastanelerinin toplam etkinlik (CRS) ortalaması %80.22, teknik etkinlik (VRS) ortalaması %92.80, ölçek etkinliği ortalaması %87'dir. Bu sonuçlar doğumevi hastanelerinde kaynakların verimsiz kullanıldığım ortaya koymaktadır.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe efficiency matter of the hospitals when the health expenditure increases, the insufficiency of resources are being protected, the hopes and the needs of the coustumers are increasing. Has become much more important. This study has been conducted to determine the efficiency level of maternity hospitals in Turkey. Moreover, by looking at the inputs and the outputs which are used in hospitals for producing care, the determining of the resources which are needed to increase or decrease in order to reach to the totally active position of the study. The study scope is taken 22 maternity hospitals. The measure the efficiency level of the hospitals, the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method has been profited. By using the (DEA) method, three different efficiency scores total efficiency (CRS), technical efficiency (VRS) and scale efficiency have been calculated. According to the study findings, the total efficiency average of the maternitiy hospitals (CRS) is 80.22%, technical efficiency avarage (VRS) is 92.80%, scale efficiency avarage is 87%, These results show that the resources are used unproductively in maternity hospitalsen_US
