Gebelerin %61,2’sinde HBS
saptandı. HBS görülen gebelerin HBS Şiddet Derecelendirme puan ortalamaları 11,86±10,57’idi.
Gebelerin %32,1’in orta şiddette HBS yaşadığı belirlendi.
Gebelerin
Global PUKİ puan ortalaması ile yorgunluk alt boyutu arasında orta düzeyde, pozitif yönlü (p<0,001),
enerji alt boyutu ile zayıf düzeyde, negatif yönlü (p=0,007) anlamlı ilişki vardı.
This is a descriptive and correlational study to examine the relationship between restless leg syndrome (Bjorvatn ve ark) and fatigue level and sleep quality in pregnant women. The sample of the study is 228 pregnant women who were presented to the NST outpatient clinic of Ali Kemal Belviranlı Obstetrics and Children's Diseases Hospital, Konya, Turkey. In collecting the data, personal information form, RLS Diagnosis Form, RLS Severity Rating Scale, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and Visual Analog Scale for Fatigue were used.In the analysis of the data, number, percentage, mean and standard deviation, Skewness and Kurtosis, t test, Mann Whitney U test (post hoc analysis Tukey HSD), and Pearson and Spearman correlation analysis were used. The mean age of the pregnant women in the study was 26,90 ± 5,94 years, and the mean gestational week was 35,93 ± 2,46. RLS was detected in 61,2% of the pregnant women. The average of RLS Severity Rating scores of the pregnant women with RLS was 11,86 ± 10,57. It was determined that 32,1% of the pregnant women experienced moderate RLS severity. The mean fatigue score of the pregnant women was 63,71 ± 20,99, and the mean score of energy subscale was 23,57 ± 9,41. In our study, while the Global PSQI score was 7,73 ± 3,27, 80,6% of the pregnant women had poor sleep quality. The was a significant difference between the presence of RLSand Global PSQI and energy sub-dimension (p = 0.01) scores. There was a significant difference between RLS severity and Global PSQI (p = 0.002), fatigue (p = 0.007), and energy (p = 0.005) subscales in the pregnant women. There was a moderate, positive (p <0.001) relationship between the PSQI scores of the pregnant women and the fatigue subscale, and a weak, negative (p = 0.007) relationship with the energy subscale.
