Özet
Türkiye ve Azerbaycan ekonomileri son yıllarda enerji tüketiminin artmasıyla büyümektedir. Enerji, üretimde kilit bir girdidir ve bir ekonominin gelişmesinde çok önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Enerji sektörü diğer sektörlerle etkileşim içinde olduğundan Türkiye ve Azerbaycan enerji şirketlerinin finansal performansları takip edilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu tezde 2018 yılı için Türkiye ve Azerbaycan'da faaliyet gösteren on enerji şirketinin finansal perfromansları 4 kriter ile değerlendirilmiştir. 4 kriter şu şekilde sıralanabilir; prim geliri / toplam özkaynaklar, toplam özkaynaklar / toplam varlıklar, likit varlıklar / toplam varlıklar ve net kar / prim geliridir. Oranların ağırlıkları önceki çalışmalar incelenerek belirlenmekte ve daha sonra enerji şirketlerinin sıralaması için TOPSIS ve MOORA yöntemi (Oran Analizi ve Referans Noktası Yaklaşımı) olmak üzere toplamda üç farklı yöntem kullanılmaktadır. Tez kapsamında elde edilen bulgular, Socar Million Manat şirketi iki yöntemde birinci sırada yer alırken Aksa Enerji bir yöntemde birinci sırada yer almaktadır.
Turkey and Azerbaijan's economy is growing with the increase of energy consumption in recent years. Energy is a key input in production and plays a crucial role in the development of an economy. The energy sector is in interaction with other sectors, the financial performance of energy companies in Turkey and Azerbaijan must be followed. In this thesis, ten Turkish and Azerbaijani companies for 2018 were evaluated with 4 criteria. The 4 criteria can be listed as follows; premium income / total equity, total equity / total assets, liquid assets / total assets and net profit / premium income. The weights of the ratios are determined by examining the previous studies and then three different methods are used for ranking the energy companies: TOPSIS, MOORA method (Ratio Analysis and Reference Point Approach). The findings obtained within the scope of the thesis show that Socar Million Manat company ranks first in two methods, while Aksa Enerji ranks first in one method.
