dc.description.abstractİletişim teknolojilerinde yaşanan hızlı ve sürekli gelişmeler, toplumsal anlam ve değer sistemlerinde de karşılık bulmaktadır. Toplumların giderek daha fazla kitle iletişim araçlarına tabi kaldığı günümüzde, bu araçlarda yer alan sunumlar her ne kadar gerçek anlamda toplumda var olanın temsilleri olmasa da öyleymiş gibi algılanmakta ve bu temsiller araçlara tabi olanın anlam haritasını önemli ölçüde biçimlendirmektedir. Böyle bir iklimde en yaygın kullanım oranına sahip bir medyum olarak kendine özgü formatıyla kültürel bir olgu olan televizyon, temsillerin evrilmesinde etkin bir rol oynamıştır. Bu temsil biçimlerinin en belli başlıcası “yıldız” olgusudur. Değerini diğeri sayesinde diğerinin bakışında bulan imajiner temsil olarak yıldız; temsil ettiği değer, duygu veya uzlaşım alanlarını kendi bağlamlarında dönüştürerek yeniden inşa eden özneler için çeşitli “kimlik” model ve önerileri sunmaktadır. Çalışmada görüntü uygarlığının etkisine maruz kalmış toplumlarda kimlik kurgulama aracı olarak “yıldız” olmanın çok katmanlı sosyal psikolojik süreçleri dikkate alınarak, yıldız olgusunu biçimleyen süreçler popüler örnekler üzerinden açıklanmaktadır.en_US
dc.description.abstractRapid and constant improvements seen in communication technologies find their places in public’s value and meaning systems as well. People encounter more and more mass media today when, although the representations in these media are not the presentations of those exist in real world, they are perceived as so, and these presentations significantly form the meaning map of those subject to the media. The cultural fact with its very own format, television, as a medium that has the commonest usage ratio in such climate, played an effective role in the evolution of the presentations. The most well-known style of these presentations is the “star” fact. Star -the imaginer presentation which finds its own value via the other at the glance of the other- presents various “identity” models or proposals for the subjects who rebuild the value, sense and convention fields which they represent by recycling within their own context. In this study, the processes forming the star fact are explained with popular models by considering the multi layered social psychological processes of being a “star” as the means of identity editing in the communities that exposed to the effect of the image world.en_US
