| dc.description.abstract | Her geçen gün artan rekabet ortamında piyasada konumunu muhafaza etmek isteyen işletmeler, birçok alanda değişikliğe gitmekte ve bu değişimi yönetmek zorundadırlar. Bu yüzden işletmeler, alacakları her türlü kararda en doğruyu ve en uygunu seçmek durumundadırlar. Alınan karaların işletmeler açısından güvenilirliği ve objektif olması çok önemlidir. Şayet kararlar yüzeysel ve sadece tahmini olursa işletme vizyonu da yüzeysel ve tahmini olur. Bu sebeple klasik karar verme yöntemlerinin yerini çağdaş karar yöntemleri almıştır. TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solutions)gibi çağdaş karar verme yöntemlerinin en önemli özelliklerinden bir tanesi, karar alıcıya birçok kriteri de değerlendirmeye dâhil edip, daha objektif bir performans değerlendirme yapabilmesini sağlamasıdır. Bu yönüyle, Çok Kriterli Karar Verme Yöntemlerinden biri olarak bilinen TOPSIS, günümüzde özel sektörden kamu sektörüne kadar birçok alanda yaygın bir kullanıma sahiptir. Bu çalışmada, ülkemizde ulaştırma sektörüne yakın bir tarihte girmiş olmasına rağmen yüksek bir performans sergileyen Anadolu Ulaşım Anonim Şirketi’nin dört yıllık finansal ve finansal olmayan verileri TOPSIS Yöntemiyle değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Bu değerlendirmede, ulaşım sektöründe başarı yakalayan bu firmanın 2008 Global Mali Krizi öncesinde ve sonrasında nasıl bir performans gösterdiği incelenmektedir. Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde TOPSIS Yöntemi ile ilgili detaylı bir literatür taraması yer almaktadır. İkinci bölümde ise, TOPSIS Yönteminin Matrisleri adım adım anlatılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde ise, işletmenin finansal ve finansal olmayan verileri kullanılarak yıllar itibariyle karar matrisleri oluşturulmuş ve yakınlık değerleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın dördüncü ve son bölümünde ise, işletmenin başarı sıralaması yıllar itibari ile ortaya çıkarılıp yorumlanmış ve bir çizgi grafiği şeklinde işletme performansı gösterilmiştir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Every passing day, in the increasing competitive environment, businesses who want to maintain their market position, are having changes in many areas and need to manage this change. Therefore, enterprises, for all kinds of decisions they take, are to choose the right and the most suitable alternative. Reliability or objectivity of the decisions takes a very important role in business life. If the decisions are taken superficially and only based on estimation, businesses’ vision will be a superficial and predictive vision as well. For this reason, the classical methods of decision-making have been replaced by modern methods of decisionmaking. One of the most important features of modern methods of decision-making, as TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solutions), is to help take decisions by considering many criteria, for a more objective performance evaluation. In this regard, TOPSIS known as Multi-Criteria Decision Making Methods now has a wide use in many areas of the private sector as well as the public sector. In this study, a four-year financial and nonfinancial data of Anadolu Transportation Corporation which performed very well despite the fact that it recently have begun operating in the transport sector were evaluated by TOPSIS method. In this evaluation, the performance of the company which showed success in the transportation sector is being examined before and after the Global Financial Crisis of 2008. A detailed review of the literature on TOPSIS Method takes place in the first section of the study. In the second section, matrices of TOPSIS method are described step by step. In the third section decision matrices were created by using financial and nonfinancial data of the company by years and tried to determine proximity values. In the fourth and final section of the study, success rating by years of the company was revealed and interpreted and the operating performance was displayed as a line chart. | en_US |
