Özet
119 üniversite öğrencisi anemik genç erkeklerin serum ferritin, demir ve UIBC değerleri belirlenmiştir. Kan eritrosit, hemoglobin, hematokrit ve MCV değerleri ile serum ferritin, demir ve UIBC değerleri sırasıyla 3.59\pm0.37x106 \mul\, 10.31\pm1.44 g/dl, 30.69\pm 3.79 %, 83.84\pm9.08 fl; 78.01\pm43.63 ng/ml, 63.08\pm26.27 \mug/dl ve 285.58\pm85.53 \mug/dl'dir. incelenen kişilerin yaşları 16-26 arasında değişmiş ve yaşları ortalaması 19.36\pm2.61 olarak bulunmuştur. Serum ferritin, demir ve UIBC değerlerinin normal sınırlar içerisinde fakat suboptimal seviyelerde olduğu görülmüştür.
