Matrakçı Nasuh’un Beyân-ı Menâzil-i Sefer-i Irakeyn Adlı Eserinde Konya Kalesi

Özet
Minyatürler geçmişe ışık tutan, tarihi belgelere görsel nitelik kazandıran en önemli kaynaklardan biridir. Topografik konulu minyatürler ise Osmanlı dönemi minyatür sanatının önemli bir kısmını oluşturmakta olup konu ile ilgili en önemli minyatürlü yazmalardan biri de hiç şüphesiz Matrakçı Nasuh’un Beyân-ı Menâzil-i Sefer-i Irakeyn isimli eseridir. Matrakçı Nasuh, bu eserinde Kanuni Sultan Süleyman’ın İran seferinde İstanbul’dan hareket ederek Tebriz’e kadar ordunun geçtiği bütün menzillerin fizikî durumunu ve topoğrafyasını tasvir etmiştir. Konya kenti de bu kapsamda minyatürü yapılan menzillerden biridir. Bu çalışmayla Matrakçı Nasuh’un Konya minyatürünü resmederken konuya yaklaşımı, öncelik verilen ögelerin saptanması, kalenin form, renk, üslup bağlamında tanımlanması ve aynı zamanda sanatçının üslubunun mimariye nasıl yansıdığının tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Ayrıca minyatür ayrıntılı olarak tanıtılıp çalışma sonucunda minyatürde yer alan kale ile eldeki bilgiler ışığında kalenin özgün durumu arasında bağlantılar kurularak araştırmada varılan sonuçlar aktarılmaya çalışılacaktır.
Miniatures are one of the significant resources that shed light on past, enhance historical documents with their visual narratives. In specific, topographic miniatures cover a great part of Ottoman miniature art in which Beyan-i Manazil-i Sefer-i Irakeyn shortly Beyan-i Manazil by Matrakçı Nasuh is undoubtedly among the most prominent illuminated manuscripts regarding this subject. In Beyan-i Manazil, Matrakçı Nasuh depicts the topography and geographical features of the route of Suleiman the Magnificent starting from İstanbul to Tabriz which army passed through, during Iran expedition. In this context, Konya province is one of the destinations miniaturized in his book. In this study, it is aimed to define the approach of Matrakçı Nasuh towards the subject while he was painting his miniatures, to discover his priority factors, to characterize his style in colors and the form of the castle. Additionally, we try to identify how his artistic style is reflected on forming architecture. Besides introducing the miniature in details, the castle depicted in his book will be compared in its original features with the help of existing documents. To conclude our study, results will be shared after establishing significant connections between the castle in his miniature and the original.
