Özet
Fast production of ZnO nanorods was obtained by bottom up approach using arc discharge in de-ionized water method. XRD shows the ZnO nanorods crystallize in the hexagonal wurtzite structure and exhibit (101) preferential orientation, with a calculated mean grain size of approximately 30 nm. TEM analysis shows well-crystallized nanorod morphology with a diameter ranging from 10 to 30 nm and the length varied from 50 to 100 nm. In addition, TEM shows the presence of 10 nm diameter rodlike nanoparticles. The ZnO nanorod growth have been empirically based on these results. © 2011, Advanced Engineering Solutions.
