Özet
Schopenhuer Felsefesinden Zeki Demirkubuz Filmlerinin Çözümlemesi başlıklı bu tez, iki
önerme üzerine kuruludur. İlki varoluşçuluğun kötümser öncüllere sahip olsa da kötümser
bir felsefe olmadığı ve Schopenhauer’ın varoluşçu sayılamayacağıdır. Söz konusu önerme
kuramsal düzeyde yürütülen tartışmalar eşliğinde görünür kılınmaya çalışılmıştır. İkincisi ise
betimleyici bulgulardan damıtılan kavramlar üzerinden Zeki Demirkubuz sinemasının
literatürde tartışıldığı/ele alındığının aksine varoluşçu düşün üzerinden değil Schopenhauer
felsefesi ve onun terminolojisi ile okunabileceği, anlamlandırılabileceği ve
tartışılabileceğidir. Bunun için kuramsal düzeyde Nietzsche, Camus, Kierkegaard, Heidegger
ve Sartre’ın görüşleri doğrultusunda varoluşçu felsefenin karamsar yanına odaklanılmış ve
bahsedilen isimlerin nihilizmin, baş dönmesinin, umutsuzluğun ve bulantının aşılması
gerektiğine yönelik görüşlerine yer ayrılmış; dünya ve insan anlayışını aşkın olmayan bir
metafiziğe dayandıran Schopenhauer’ın ontolojisi, filozofun tutsaklığa ve özgürlüğe yönelik
görüşleri varoluşçulukla karşılaştırmalı olarak tartışılmıştır. Ampirik düzeyde ise Yeni Türk
Sinemasının kurucu yönetmenlerinden Zeki Demirkubuz filmlerinin neden varoluşçu
düşünülemeyeceği aksine söz konusu filmlerin varoluşçu olmayan Schopenhauer felsefesi
üzerinden nasıl okunabileceği, anlamlandırılabileceği ve tartışılabileceğine yer verilmiştir.
Analysis of Zeki Demirkubuz's Movies on Schopenhauer's Philosophy based on two questions. First, although existentialism has pessimistic premises, it is not a pessimistic philosophy and Schopenhauer can not be regarded as existentialist. This question was explained in the light of the discussions on the theoretical background. The second is that, through concepts distilled from descriptive findings, Zeki Demirkubuz’s movies can be read, interpreted and discussed with Schopenhauer's philosophy and its terminology, not through existentialist thought. Therefore, the pessimistic side of existential philosophy is focused on in line with the views of Nietzsche, Camus, Kierkegaard, Heidegger and Sartre. The views of given names that nihilism, dizziness, despair and nausea should be overcome are included. The ontology of Schopenhauer, who bases his understanding of the world and human on a non-transcendent metaphysics, and his views on captivity and freedom have been discussed comparatively with existentialism. On the empirical part, it is mentioned why Zeki Demirkubuz, one of the founding directors of New Turkish Cinema, cannot be thought of as existential and how his movies can be read, interpreted and discussed through the non-existential Schopenhauer philosophy.
