| dc.description.abstract | In this study comparison of effects recovery from anaesthesia with on some haematological and biochemical values in different ages, sexes, breeds and weights dogs were made. Halothane and sevoflurane of the doses of 1.5 MAC during two hours were administered in a mixture of 100 % O?. During recovery period, sevoflurane group regained reflex earlier than halothane group. The complete recovery period (standing-up) occurred short in sevoflurane group as compared with halothane group. Among haematologic parameters, leukocyte count continued to rise 24 hours after the anesthesia (p<0.001). Although leukocyte count increased in sevoflurane group, this increase was detected to be statistically non-significant. Even though erythrocyte count, haemoglobin and PCV were observed to reduce slightly during anesthesia (p<0.05), they reached their pre-anesthetic values after 24 hours. In biochemical parameters, statistically significant differences in serum glucose (p<0.001) and ALT (p<0.05) levels in halothane group were detected. These parameters were measured as near as their normal values in the blood serum taken 24 hours after anesthesia. In sevoflurane group, statistically significant increase in serum glucose (p<0.01) level during the anesthesia was determined to approach to its preanesthetic value in the samples taken 24 hours later. In other biochemical parameters, BUN, creatine, albumin and globulin values were seen to remain within their physiologic ranges in both groups. In conclusion, it was determined that sevoflurane imposed few adverse effects on the haematological and biochemical parameters and possessed short recovery period as compared with halothane. Therefore, it was suggested that sevoflurane should be preferred to halothane in cases which have poor condition or require quick recovery from anesthesia. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | u çalışmada değişik yaş, cinsiyet, irk ve ağırlıkta 30 köpek üzerinde halotan ve sevofluranin anesteziden uyanma ile bazı hematolojik ve biyokimyasal parametreler üzerine etkilerinin karşılaştırılması yapıldı. Halotan ve sevofluran % 100 oksijen ile birlikte 1.5 MAC dozlanında iki saat süreyle uygulandı. Uyanma döneminde sevofluran grubunda refleksler ha lotan grubuna göre daha erken oluştu. Ayağa kalkma süresi halotan grubuna göre daha kısa sürelerde gerçekleşti. He matolojik parametrelerden lökosit sayısı halotan grubunda anesteziden 24 saat sonrada artışına devam etti (p<0.001). Sevofluran grubunda da lökosit sayısında artış meydana geldi fakat bu artış istatistiksel olarak önemsiz bulundu. Her iki grupta eritrosit sayısı, hemoglobin ve PCV değerlerinde anestezi sırasında anlamlı değişiklikler görüldü (p<0.05) ise de 24 saat sonra anestezi öncesi değerlere yaklaştıklan görüldü. Biyokimyasal parametrelerden serum glukoz (p<0.001) ve ALT (p<0.05) düzeylerinde halotan grubunda istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunan değişiklikler görüldü. Sevofluran grubunda anestezi sırasında serum glukoz düzeyinde istatistiksel olarak oluşan anlamlı yükselişin (p<0.01) 24 saat sonra alınan kan serumunda anestezi öncesi değerlere yaklaştığı görüldü. Diğer biyokimyasal parametrelerden BUN, kreatin, albumin, globulin değerlerinin her iki grupta da fizyolojik sınırlar içinde kaldığı görüldü. Sonuç olarak halotan ile karşılaştırıldığında; sevofluranın kan parametreleri üzerine olumsuz etkisinin daha az, anesteziden uyanma süresinin ise daha kisa olduğu saptandı. Bundan dolayı, genel durum bozukluğu bulunan ve erken uyanması istenen olgularda sevofluranın halotana tercih edilebileceği kanısına varıldı. | en_US |
