| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışma, Muhafazakârlık düşüncesinin, Türkiye'deki teorik temellerini ortaya çıkarabilmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmamızda, muhafazakârlık çerçevesinde süreklilik, değişimler, kırılmalar ve tarihsel süreçler, ana eksenimizi oluşturmaktadır. Bu çerçevede, öncelikle, genel bir muhafazakârlık tanımı yapılmıştır. Bu tanımlamadan sonra, ikinci basamağı, dünya muhafazakârlığının tarihsel gelişimi oluşturmaktadır. Türkiye açısından muhafazakâr yapının ortaya konulabilmesi, ancak Osmanlı İmparatorluğu tarihi ve kültürel yapısı incelenmesi ile mümkündür. Bu nedenle öncelikle Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nun önemli tarihsel dönemleri incelenmiş, daha sonra İmparatorluk döneminde etkili düşünce akımları ve Cumhuriyetin kuruluş yılları ile ilgili bilgi verilmiştir. Cumhuriyetin kuruluşu ve toplumsal değişim bizim için önemli bir dönüm noktasını oluşturmaktadır. Bu sebeple Cumhuriyet Türkiye'si açısından 1950'ye kadar olan süreç irdelenmiştir. Son olarak Türkiye'de muhafazakâr düşüncenin teorisyenlerine örnekler verilmiştir. Çalışmamızda bahsettiğimiz muhafazakârlık türü, Edmund Burke'ü temel alan bir muhafazakârlık anlayışı çerçevesinde ortaya konmuştur. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study is to clarify the theoretical fundamentals of conservatism idea in Turkey. The outline of our study is continuity, changes, breakings and historical processes within the framework of conservatism. In this framework, firstly a general definition of conservatism has been given. After this definition, historical development of world's conservatism has been given as a second footstep. The only way of the clarification of the conservative structure in terms of Turkey is to examine historical and cultural structures of Ottoman Empire. Therefore, firstly important historical periods of Ottoman Empire has been examined; and then the ideas that had been effective during Empire's period and information about the establishment of the Republic has been given. The establishment of Republic and the social change is an important turning point for us. Therefore, the period that comes up to 1950 has been examined in terms of Republic of Turkey. Finally, some examples of theorists of conservatism idea in Turkey have been given. The conservatism we are dealing with in our study is put forward with in a framework of conservatism that based on Edmund Burke's ideas. | en_US |
