dc.description.abstractBu tez beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde, Fibonacci ve Tribonacci sayıları ve polinomları konularında tez ile ilişkili yapılmış çalışmalara yer verildi. Tezde kullanılan yöntem ve teknikler ele alındı. İkinci bölümde bazı temel tanım ve teoremlere yer verildi. Üçüncü bölümde, n S kümesinin ardışık iki tek (çift) tam sayı içermeyen alt küme sayısına karşılık gelen tam sayı dizilerinin 4. mertebeden lineer indirgeme bağıntıları, başlangıç koşulları ile birlikte elde edildi. Bu dizilerin kapalı form formülleri Fibonacci dizisi cinsinden ifade edildi. Benzer şekilde n S kümesinin ardışık üç tek(çift) tam sayı içermeyen alt küme sayısına karşılık gelen tam sayı dizilerinin 6. mertebeden lineer indirgeme bağıntıları, başlangıç koşulları ile birlikte elde edildi. Bu dizilerin kapalı form formülleri Tribonacci dizisi cinsinden ifade edildi. Bu tam sayı dizilerinin bazı temel özellikleri incelendi. Dördüncü bölümde, bir önceki bölümde elde edilmiş olan tam sayı dizileri polinom dizilerine genelleştirildi. Polinom dizilerinin kapalı form formülleri Fibonacci ve Tribonacci polinomları ile ilişkilendirilerek bu polinom dizileri ile ilgili bazı temel özellikler elde edildi. Ayrıca bazı yeni kombinatoryal özdeşlikler bulundu. Beşinci bölümde ise sonuç ve önerilere yer verilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis thesis consists of five chapters. In the first chapter, studies related to the thesis on Fibonacci and Tribonacci numbers and polynomials were given. The methods and techniques used in the thesis were discussed. In the second chapter, some basic definitions and theorems were given. In the third chapter, the 4th order linear recurrence relations of the integer sequences corresponding to the number of subsets of the set n S that don’t contain two consecutive odd (even) integers, were obtained together with the initial conditions. The closed-form formulas of these sequences were expressed in terms of the Fibonacci sequence. Similarly, the 6th order linear recurrence relations of the integer sequences corresponding to the number of subsets of the set n S that don’t contain three consecutive odd (even) integers, were obtained together with the initial conditions. The closed-form formulas of these sequences were expressed in terms of the Tribonacci sequence. Some basic properties of these integer sequences were examined. In the fourth chapter, the integer sequences obtained in the previous chapter were generalized to the polynomial sequences. By associating the closed-form formulas of polynomial sequences with Fibonacci and Tribonacci polynomials, some basic properties of these polynomial sequences were obtained. Also, some new combinatorial identities were found. In the fifth section, conclusions and recommendations are given.en_US
