Ortaöğretim Öğrencilerinin Beden Eğitimi ve Spora Yönelik Tutumlarıyla Empatik Eğilim Düzeyleri Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi

Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı; farklı eğitim anlayışına sahip liselerde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin
beden eğitimi ve spor dersine yönelik tutumları ile empatik eğilim düzeyleri arasında ilişki olup
olmadığının ayrıca cinsiyet, yaş, okul türü, sınıf düzeyi, aile gelir düzeyi, hazırlık kursuna gitme
durumu, spor yapma sıklığı ve spor branşı gibi değişkenler açısından incelenmesidir.
Çalışmaya 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılında Tekirdağ ilinde eğitim gören rastgele örnekleme
yöntemi ile seçilen 424 erkek, 489 kadın olmak üzere toplam 913 öğrenci dâhil edilmiştir. Çalışmaya
katılan öğrencilerin beden eğitimi ve spor dersine yönelik tutumlarının belirlenmesi için ‘Beden
Eğitimi ve Spor Tutum Ölçeği’ (BESTÖ), empatik eğilim düzeylerini belirlemek için ise ‘Ka-Si
Empatik Eğilim Ergen Formu’ (KA-Sİ EEÖ) kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 24.0 paket
programı kullanılmıştır. Alt boyutlar ve toplam sonuçların istatistiksel değerlendirmelerinde
parametrik testler uygulanmıştır. Bağımsız iki grup arasındaki farkı belirlemek amacıyla independent t
test, ikiden fazla grup karşılaştırmalarında tek yönlü varyans analizi One-Way ANOVA
uygulanmıştır. Ölçekler arası ilişkiyi incelemek amacıyla pearson korelasyon analizi uygulanmıştır.
Araştırma bulgularında; Beden eğitimi ve spor dersine yönelik tutumun cinsiyet, yaş, okul
türü, sınıf düzeyi, aile gelir düzeyi, spor yapma sıklığı ve spor branşı değişkenlerine göre anlamlı
düzeyde farklılaştığı (p <0.05) tespit edilmiştir. Empatik eğilim düzeyinin de cinsiyet, yaş, okul türü,
aile gelir düzeyi, spor yapma sıklığı ve spor branşı değişkenlerine göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılaştığı
(p< 0.05) tespit edilmiştir. Korelasyon sonucuna göre beden eğitimi ve spor dersine yönelik tutum ile
empatik eğilimin alt boyutlarından duygusal empati ile arasında yüksek düzeyde pozitif yönlü ilişki
olduğu, bilişsel empati alt boyutu ile düşük düzeyde de olsa pozitif yönlü ilişki olduğu tespit
edilmiştir. Alt boyutlar arasında da orta düzeyde pozitif yönlü ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır.
Sonuç olarak ortaöğretimde ki öğrencilerin demografik özellikleri BESTÖ toplam puanı ile
empatik eğilim düzeyinde belirleyici olduğu ve beden eğitimi ve spor dersine yönelik tutumun
empatik eğilim düzeyini de arttırdığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between the attitudes of students studying in different types of high schools towards physical education and sports lessons and their empathic tendency levels, and also in terms of variables such as gender, age, school type, class level, family income level, attendance to preparatory course, frequency of doing sports and sports branch. A total of 913 students, including 424 boys and 489 girls, were selected by the random sampling method trained in Tekirdağ province in the 2022-2023 academic year The 'Physical Education and Sports Attitude Scale' (PESAS) was used to determine the attitudes of the students participating in the study towards physical education and sports lessons, and the 'Ka-Si Empathic Tendency Adolescent Form' (KA-SI ETS) was used to determine their empathic tendency levels. SPSS 24 package program was used in the analysis of the data. Parametric tests were used in the statistical evaluation of sub-dimensions and total results. Independent t-test was used to determine the difference between two independent groups, and one-way analysis of variance One-Way ANOVA was used for comparisons of more than two groups. Pearson correlation analysis was applied to examine the relationship between the scales. In result of the study; It was determined that the attitude towards physical education and sports lessons differed significantly according to the variables of gender, age, school type, class level, family income level, frequency of doing sports and sports branch (p<0.05). It was determined that the level of empathic tendency differed significantly according to the variables of gender, age, school type, family income level, frequency of doing sports and branch of sports (p< 0.05). According to the correlation result, it was found that there was a high level of positive relationship between the attitude towards physical education and sports lessons and emotional empathy, which is one of the subdimensions of empathic disposition, and it was determined that there was a low level of positive relationship with the cognitive empathy sub-dimension. It was determined that there was a moderate positive relationship between the sub-dimensions. As a result, it has been concluded that the demographic characteristics of the students in secondary education are determinant in the PESAS total score and the level of empathic tendency, and the attitude towards physical education and sports lessons also increases the level of empathic tendency.
