dc.description.abstractA space-time coding scheme with transmit antenna selection that employs conventional super-orthogonal space-time trellis and improved super-orthogonal space-time trellis codes is considered. Transmit antenna selection criterion is given and the error performance of the proposed structure is tested by computer simulations for systems that have two active transmit antennas and single receive antenna in quasi-static flat Rayleigh fading channels. It has been shown that proposed scheme outperforms the previous space-time trellis coding structures with transmit antenna selection given in the literature.en_US
