Özet
Küreselleşme, toplumlar arasında kültürel farklılıkların azalmasındaki en önemli etkenlerden biridir. Küreselleşme ile toplumlar arasındaki kültürel farklılıkların giderek azaldığı yeni bir dünya düzeni ortaya çıkmıştır. Konut biçiminin belirleyicilerinden biri olan kültür, küreselleşme kavramının bir sonucu olarak değişime uğramaktadır. Kültürel değişim ile beraber değişen istek ve ihtiyaçlar, yeni konut tiplerinin üretilmesine sebep olmuştur. Teknolojinin ilerlemesinden payını alan medyanın, egemen kültürü yaymaya başlamasıyla son dönemlerde üretilen konutlar birbiri ile benzer bir hal almışlardır. Kültürel etkileşim ile beraber ilk olarak Amerika'da ortaya çıkan stüdyo daireler 20. yüzyılın sonlarında Türkiye'de de yapılmaya başlamıştır. Bu tez çalışması kapsamında; değişen yaşam tarzları ile son yıllarda bir trend haline gelen "stüdyo" tipi konutlar, sosyal, kültürel ve mimari açıdan incelenmiştir. Çalışma içerisinde ilk stüdyo tipi konutlar tespit edilerek stüdyo dairelerin ortaya çıkış sebepleri araştırılmıştır. Araştırma sürecinde 2010-2016 tarihleri aralığında, Konya'da yapılan stüdyo daireler tespit edilmiş ve plan bazında 14 adet yapı incelenmiştir. Bu çalışma, stüdyo daire kullanıcılarının profillerini, bu daireleri tercih etme sebeplerini ve stüdyo daireler hakkındaki görüşlerini tespit etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaçlar doğrultusunda 14 Kasım-5 Aralık 2016 tarihleri arasında 346 kişi ile yüz yüze anket çalışması yapılmıştır.
Globalization is one of the most important factors in reducing cultural differences among societies. With globalization, a new world order has emerged in which cultural differences between communities are gradually diminishing. One of the determinants of the housing form, culture is changing as a result of the concept of globalization. Altered desires and needs with cultural change have led to the production of new housing types. As the media, which receives the share of technology in the future, began to spread the dominant culture, the houses that have been produced recently have become similar to each other. The studio apartments that first appeared in America with cultural interaction started to be made in Turkey in the late 20th century. In this thesis; "studio" type residences that have become a trend in recent years with changing lifestyles have been examined from a social, cultural and architectural point of view. In the study, the first studio type houses were identified and the reasons for the appearance of the studio apartments were investigated. During the research period, studio apartments built in the period of 2010-2016 in Konya were detected and 14 buildings in plan basis were examined. This study aims to identify profiles of studio apartment users, reasons for choosing these apartments, and opinions about studio apartments. For these purposes, a face-to-face survey was conducted with 346 people between November 14 and December 5, 2016.
