The aim of this study was to determine the effects of addition of plant extract possessing antibacterial effect (Herbromix®) into broiler diet on ANAE and ACP positivity of peripheral blood lymphocytes. A total of 80 newly born broiler chicks were utilized for this purpose. Chicks were allotted into 4 groups, 20 chicks per group. While two groups were fed, commercial broiler diet, plant extracts (0.1 % of DM) were added into diets of other two groups. Fifteen days, starting 15th day of experiment, heat stress were applied to two groups, one fed commercial diet and one fed commercial diet supplemented with plant extract. It was observed that heat stress was significantly (PO.05) decreased ANAE and ACP positive lymphocyte rates, however the plant extract administration has no beneficial effect in heat stress.
