| dc.description.abstract | Amaç: Toplumsal cinsiyet eşitsizliği birçok alanda görülmekte ve ekonomik kültürül ve sosyal birçok alanı etkilemektedir. Bu araştırma, toplumsal cinsiyet ve şiddet konusunda farkındalığı artırmak amacıyla verilen eğitimin ebelik öğrencilerinin toplumsal cinsiyet algı ve tutumuna etkisini incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırma, deneysel araştırma tasarımlarından randomize olmayan gruplarda ön test-son test yarı deneysel olarak planlanmıştır. Araştırmada örneklem seçimine gidilmemiş olup, araştırmaya dâhil edilme kriterlerine uyan 41 ebelik öğrencisi ile yürütülmüştür. Veriler, tanıtıcı bilgi formu, Toplumsal Cinsiyet Rolleri Tutum Ölçeği, Toplumsal Cinsiyet Algısı Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Katılımcılara çalışmanın amacı aktarılarak, gönüllülük ilkesi doğrultusunda veriler toparlanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, tanımlayıcı istatistikler için sayı, yüzde, ortalama ve standart sapma kullanılmıştır. Karşılaştırmalı tekrarlı ölçümlerde tek faktörlü varyans analizi ve korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Katılımcıların toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri tutum ölçeği ön test puan ortalamasının 60,02 ± 8,49, son test puan ortalamasının 58,93 ± 7,96 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Toplumsal cinsiyet algı ölçeği ön test puan ortalamasının 111,00 ± 10,50, son test puan ortalamasının ise 110,51 ± 12,07 olduğu bulunmuştur. Katılımcıların eğitim öncesi ve sonrası toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri tutum (p = 0,2929) ve toplumsal cinsiyet algı (p = 0,771) puan ortalamaları karşılaştırıldığında anlamlı fark olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Uygulamada Kullanım: Toplumsal cinsiyet ve şiddete yönelik eğitim sonrası ebelik öğrencilerinin toplumsal cinsiyet tutum ve algılarının değişmediği belirlenmiştir. Toplumsal cinsiyet ve şiddet üzerine etki edecek farklı bölüm, müfredat, eğitim programı içeriği bakımından karşılaştırmalı çalışmalar planlanması önerilmektedir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Purpose: Gender inequality is seen in many areas and affects many economic, cultural and social areas. This research, it was conducted to examine the effect of the education given to raise awareness about gender and violence on gender perception and attitude in midwifery students. Methods: The research was planned as a pretest-posttest quasi-experimental experimental research design in nonrandomized groups. Sample selection was not made in the study, and it was conducted with 41 midwifery students who met the inclusion criteria of the study. The data were collected with the introductory information form, the Gender Roles Attitude Scale, and the Gender Perception Scale. The purpose of the study was explained to the participants, and the data were collected in line with the principle of voluntariness. Single factor analysis of variance and correlation analysis were used in comparative repeated measurement. Result: It was determined that the pre-test mean score of the participants' gender roles attitude scale was 60.02 ± 8.49, and the post-test mean score was 58.93 ± 7.96. It was found that the pre-test mean score of the gender perception scale was 111.00 ± 10.50, and the post-test mean score was 110.51 ± 12.07. When the participants' pre- and post-training gender role attitudes (p = 0.2929) and gender perception (p = 0.771) mean scores were compared, it was determined that there was no significant difference. Usage in Practice: It was determined that the gender attitudes and perceptions of midwifery students did not change after the training on gender and violence. It is recommended to plan comparative studies in terms of the content of different departments, curricula and training programs that will affect gender and violence. | en_US |
