Özet
Bu araştırmanın genel amacı; 3-6 yaş çocuklarına eğitim veren okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarında sistemin kalitesini etkileyen fiziksel çevreye yönelik kalite standartlarını, eğitimin ortak paydaşları olan veli, öğretmen ve yönetici görüşlerine dayalı olarak tespit etmektir. Araştırmada genel tarama modeli kullanılmış olup, çalışma örneklemini, Konya İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü?ne bağlı Meram, Selçuklu ve Karatay merkez ilçelerin de bulunan toplam 15 bağımsız resmi ve özel okul öncesi eğitim kurumları oluşturmaktadır. Bu kurumlardan toplam 538 veli, 51 öğretmen ve 15 yönetici çalışmaya dahil olmuştur. 7 boyut ve 80 maddede oluşan fiziksel çevre standartlarının uygunluğu ve önem derecesinin belirlenmesi ile önerilen ifadeler bağlamında okullardaki mevcut durumun yeterlilik düzeyinin değerlendirilmesinde tüm paydaşların görüşlerine başvurulmuştur. Elde edilen veriler SPSS programında uygun istatistiksel testler kullanılarak çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda önerilen bütün ifadelerin paydaşlar tarafından standart olarak ?uygun? ve ?önemli? olarak kabul edildiği görülmüştür. Fiziksel çevre standartları bağlamında eğitmenlerin okullarındaki mevcut durumlarına ilişkin yapmış oldukları değerlendirmeler, fiziksel çevre standartları konusunda özellikle iyileştirme yapılması gereken alanları ortaya çıkarmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar ışığında, okul öncesi eğitimde standart belirlemeye, okul öncesi eğitimde kalitenin geliştirilmesine, okul öncesi eğitimde fiziksel çevre standartlarının oluşturulmasına ve fiziksel çevre standartları bağlamında mevcut duruma ilişkin yetersizliklerin iyileştirilmesine yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
This study generally aims to determine quality standards that affect quality of system directed to physical environment in pre-school institutions providing education to 3-6 years old children on the basis of views of the common dominators of the education parent, teacher and administrator. General screening model has been used in this study and 15 independent public and private pre- school education institutions located in the central districts of Meram, Selçuklu, Karatay depending on Konya Provincial Directorate of National Education formed the study sample. A total of 538 parents, 51 teachers and 15 administrators from these institutions were included in this study. In the context of appropriateness of physical environmental standards consisting of 7 size and 80 items determining the degree of importance to the proposed statements all views of stakeholders were consulted on the assessment of the level of competence of the current situation in schools. The obtained data were analysed using appropriate SPSS statistical tests. All the proposed statements, as a result of the study were seen ?appropriate? and ?important? as standards by the stakeholders. Assessments about current situations of schools made by trainers within the context of physical environment standards revealed areas particularly in need of improving physical environment standards. In the light of obtained results to determine quality of pre- school education, to develop quality and set up physical environment standards in pre-school education and to recruit inadequacies of the current situation in the context of physical environment standards have been proposed.
