| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmanın amacı; maksiller santral ve lateral diş eğiminin profil gülümseme estetiği üzerindeki etkisini araştırmak, profil gülümsemesindeki en estetik kesici diş eğim derecesini belirlemek ve farklı kesici diş eğimine sahip profil gülümseme fotoğraflarının ortodontistler, diş hekimleri, ortodontik tedavi gören hastalar ve meslek dışı bireyler tarafından estetik açıdan değerlendirilmesidir. Çalışmamıza ortodontistler, diş hekimleri, Konya Selçuk Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi'nde tedavi görmüş ya da görmekte olan 18 yaş üstü hastalar ve meslek dışı bireyler olmak üzere toplam 300 kişi katılmıştır. Katılımcılara bilgisayarda düzenlenmiş 20 adet profil gülümseme fotoğrafı gösterilmiştir. Katılımcılardan fotoğrafları estetik açıdan puanlamaları istenmiştir. Katılımcıların sosyal statü/mesleklerine göre istatistiksel analizler yapılmıştır. Tüm gruplarda en çok puanı alan santral dişin değişimlerine ait profil gülümseme fotoğrafları S2 (+5) ve S1 (0) olurken; en az puanı alan gülümseme fotoğrafı S5 (-20) olmuştur. Lateral dişe ait fotoğraflar içinden en yüksek puanı L7 (-5) ve L8 (+5) fotoğrafı alırken, en düşük puanı L5 (+20) fotoğrafı almıştır. Çalışmamızın sonucunda: Maksiller santral ve lateral diş eğiminin profil gülümseme estetiği üzerinde etkisi vardır. Maksiller keser dişlerin eğim değişimlerine dair estetik algı, katılımcıların mesleklerine göre farklılık göstermektedir. Maksiller santral dişin eğimindeki değişim, lateral dişe göre daha çok fark edilmektedir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study is; to investigate the effect of maxillary central and lateral inclination on profile smile aesthetics, to determine the most aesthetic tooth inclination degree in profile smile and to evaluate profile smile photos with different incisors inclination by orthodontists, dentists, patients undergoing orthodontic treatment and non-professional individuals. A total of 300 people, including orthodontists, dentists, patients over the age of 18 who have received or are being treated at Konya Selcuk University Faculty of Dentistry, and non-professional individuals participated in our study. Participants were shown 20 profile smile photos edited on a computer. Participants were asked to rate the photographs in terms of aesthetics. Statistical analyzes were made according to the social status/profession of the participants and a significant difference was found between the groups. In all groups, the profile smile photos of the central tooth changes with the highest score were S2 (+5) and S1 (0); the photograph with the lowest score was S5 (-20). L7 (-5) and L8 (+5) photographs received the highest score among the photographs of the lateral teeth, while the L5 (+20) photograph received the lowest score. According to our results: Maxillary central and lateral tooth inclination has an effect on profile smile aesthetics. The aesthetic perception of the inclination changes of the maxillary incisors differs according to the professions of the participants. The change in the inclination of the maxillary central tooth is more noticeable than the lateral tooth. | |
