| dc.description.abstract | Hamiyet gazetesi, Miladi 1896 yılında, Filibe'de yayınlanmaya başlamış, siyasi bir Türk gazetesidir. Haftada 17. sayıya kadar iki kez, 17. sayıdan itibaren de üç kez yayınlanmaya başlayan gazete, Osmanlı Devleti'nin siyasî olaylarını ele almıştır. Osmanlı Devleti, 19. yüzyılda ortaya çıkan milliyetçilik akımının etkisinde kalmış ve dağılma sürecine girmiştir. Özellikle 1877?78 Osmanlı-Rus savaşının sonuçlarının doğurmuş olduğu bir takım meseleler de bu dağılma sürecinin hızlanmasında etkili olmuştur. Rusya'nın başarısı da Avrupa Devletleri için endişe yaratmış, çıkarları zedelenen Devletler mücadelede yerlerini almışlardır. Osmanlı Devleti özellikle 19. yüzyılda Yunanistan'ın bitmek bilmeyen toprak hırsı ile kaşı karşıya kalmıştır. Yunanistan'ın bir takım başarıları da çıkarları zedelenen devletleri harekete geçirmiştir. Böylece Osmanlı'nın Balkan toprakları bir takım mücadelelere sahne olmuş, Osmanlı Devleti de bu mücadele çemberi içerisinde yer almıştır. Emperyalist Devletler kendi emellerine ulaşabilmek için Osmanlı Devleti aleyhinde propagandalar yaparak dünya kamuoyunun gözünde Osmanlı Devletini suçlu göstermişler ve kendi lehlerine taraf toplamaya başlamışlardır. Hamiyet gazetesi, Osmanlı aleyhinde propaganda yapan diğer Avrupa gazetelerine cevap vererek dünya kamuoyuna Osmanlı Devleti'nin haklı olduğunu göstermeyi amaç edinmiştir. Bu bağlamda Hamiyet gazetesi, Filibe Türklerinin yegâne sesi olmuştur. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Hamiyet was a Turkish political magazine which started its publishing adventure in 1896 AD in Plovdiv. The newspaper was published twice a week until 17th edition. İt was published three times a week beginning from 17th edition and mainly dealt with the political issues of Ottoman Empire at that time. The rise of nationalism in the 19th century affected the Ottoman Empire and eventually caused its break down. This break down process of the Empire was quickened by the consequences of the war between Ottomans and Russia during the years 1877-78. The success of Russia against Ottomans made some European countries worry about their interests and this led to the participation of these countries in the struggle. The Ottoman Empire faced with the Greece?s never ending desire to have land in the 19th century. Greece?s victory over other countries made some Nations worry about their interests. As a result, there were struggles and problems in Ottoman borders. To reach their ends the imperialist powers tried to change the world public opinion about Ottoman Empire by accusing him. Meanwhile they collect friends to their side as many as possible. The aim of the Hamiyet newspaper was to show that Ottoman Empire was not guilty to the World and the powers working against Ottomans. The Hamiyet became the only voice of the Plovdiv Turks. | en_US |
