Özet
Diş hekimliğinde estetik problemlerin büyük bir kısmını ön bölgede görülen renk, şekil, yapı ve konum bozuklukları oluşturmaktadır. Özellikle diastemalar, hastaların ortak estetik şikayetlerinden biridir. Yaygın görülebilen bu tür estetik problemleri ortadan kaldırmak amacıyla uygulanan ve ortodontik, protetik, restoratif işlemleri içeren farklı tedavi prosedürleri mevcuttur. Direkt kompozit restorasyonlar, estetik olmayan dişler arası boşlukların kapatılması için konservatif, pratik ve düşük maliyetli bir tedavi seçeneğidir. Bu 5 olgu sunumunda dişlerindeki diastema ve/veya polidiastemaya bağlı estetik şikayetle kliniğimize başvuran hastalara, direkt kompozit rezin ile uygulanan restoratif tedavi işlemlerinin anlatılması amaçlandı. Restorasyonların tamamlanmasının ardından, hastaların 3-6 ve 12 aylık periyodik takip randevuları gerçekleştirildi. Takipler sonucunda yapılan restorasyonların estetik başarısının klinik olarak kabul edilebilir ölçüde olduğu görüldü. Direkt kompozit rezinlerin sunulan vakalarda olduğu gibi hastaları tatmin edebilecek estetiğe, uygun maliyete ve dayanıklılığa sahip olduğu söylenebilir.
Anterior teeth which have colour, shape, pattern and position disorders consitute significant part of esthetic problems in dentistry. Especially, anterior diastema is a common esthetic complaint of patients. In order to elimination of such aesthetic problems encountered very common, there are different treatment procedures including orthodontic, prosthodontic, restorative procedures. Direct composite restoration is a treatment method that provides minimally invasive, conservative, easy and cost effective way for the closure of anesthetic interdental spaces. In these 5 case reports were aimed to describe the restorative treatment process implemented with direct composite resin method to patients that admitted to our clinic with aesthetic complaints related to diastema and/or polidiastema. It was planned periodically 3-6 and 12 months follow-up appointments of patients. It was observed that the restorations had clinically acceptable aesthetics. Direct composite resins seemed to be aesthetic and durable restorations that can satisfy patients as under the conditions of case presented.
