| dc.description.abstract | Antik medeniyetlerde tıp ve tıbbı uygulamalar zaman içerisinde değişiklik göstermiş olsa da kullanılan tıp aletlerinin çoğunun günümüzde de aynı işlevlere sahip olduğu görülmektedir. Çalışmam dahilinde genel anlamda antik dönemdeki tıp ve tıbbi uygulamalar hakkında genel bir değerlendirme yapılıp tıp aletleri literatür dahilinde incelenmeye alınmıştır. Antik dönemde Mezopotamya, Mısır, Hitit, Yunan ve Roma medeniyetlerindeki tıbbi uygulamalardan söz edilmiş ve cerrahinin ortaya çıkışıyla birlikte bu medeniyetlerde cerrahi aletler ile bu aletlerin kullanımlarına değinilmiştir. Özellikle Mısır'da başlayıp Yunan ve Roma'da ileri seviyelere ulaşan tıbbi alet kullanımı antik dönem açısından sağlık alanındaki ilerlemenin kanıtı niteliğindedir. Çalışma kapsamında bilinen bazı tıp aletleri incelenmiş olup, aletlere dair tanımlamalardan bahsedilmiş, yapıldıkları malzeme, şekil ve formları ile kullanım amaçlarına değinilmiştir. Edinilen bilgiler dahilinde daha az gelişmiş olan teknoloji ve kısıtlı tıp aleti üretimi neticesinde bir tıp aletinin birden çok işlevi karşılamada kullanılmış olduğu görülmektedir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Although medical and medical practices in ancient civilizations have changed over time, most of the medical instruments used have the same functions today. In my study, a general evaluation was made about medicine and medical practices in ancient history in general and medical instruments were examined in the literature. Medical practices in Mesopotamia, Egypt, Hittite, Greek and Roman civilizations were mentioned in the ancient period and with the emergence of surgery, surgical instruments and their use were mentioned. The use of medical devices, which started in Egypt and reached an advanced level in Greece and Rome, is evidence of the progress in the field of health in ancient period. In the scope of this study, some medical instruments are examined and the definitions related to the instruments are mentioned, the materials, shapes and forms and the intended use are mentioned. According to the information obtained, less developed technology and limited medical device production have resulted in the use of a medical device to meet multiple functions. | en_US |
