Özet
Dünya genelinde gelişen ve sosyal bir faaliyet sektörü olarak bilinen turizm
hareketlerine erişilebilirlik ile ilgili çalışmalar önem kazanmaktadır. Dünya nüfusunun
yaşlanması, kronik hastalıklar, kazalar gibi sebeplere bağlı engelliliklerin artması; engelli
bireylerin de turizm faaliyetlerine katılması gündeme gelmektedir. Bu sebeple
erişilebilirlik kavramı; temel insan olma hakkı sebebiyle engelleri olsa dahi bütün
insanların, hareket etme, görme, işitme gibi imkânlarının tesis ve temini ile seyahat
hareketlerine katılmalarını sağlayan turizm çeşididir. Bu çalışmada, bedensel engelli
bireylerin sanal gerçeklik gözlüğü kullanarak Mevlana Müze’ si seyahati deneyimlerinin
derinlemesine değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu bağlamda, Konya Sakatlar
Derneği’ne gelen bedensel engelli bireyler araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturmaktadır.
Araştırma verileri toplanabilmesi için ilki görüşme yapılan kişilerin demografik
bilgilerinin yer aldığı bilgi formu, diğeri ise yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme sorularını
içeren iki adet ölçü aracı geliştirilmiş ve kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırmada, bedensel engelli
bireylerin, müze turizmi faaliyetine katılmasında en önemli engellerin; ekonomik, fiziki,
ulaştırma ve refakatçi ile ilgili koşulların olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu koşulların sağlanması
durumunda bedensel engelli bireylerin her türlü turizm faaliyetlerine katılabileceği
düşünülmektedir.
Studies on accessibility to tourism movements, which are known as a developing and social activity sector throughout the world, are gaining importance. Increasing disability due to aging of the world population, chronic diseases and accidents; The participation of disabled people in tourism activities is also on the agenda. For this reason, the concept of accessibility; It is a type of tourism that enables all people to participate in travel activities by establishing and providing opportunities such as movement, sight and hearing, even if they have disabilities due to their basic human right. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the experiences of physically disabled individuals traveling to the Mevlana Museum in depth by using virtual reality glasses. In this context, physically handicapped individuals coming to Konya Disabled Association constitute the sample of the research. In order to collect the research data, two measurement tools were developed and used, the first of which includes the demographic information of the interviewees, and the other, which includes semi-structured interview questions. In this research, the most important obstacles for physically disabled individuals to participate in museum tourism activities are; It has been determined that there are economic, physical, transportation and accompanying conditions. If these conditions are met, it is thought that physically handicapped individuals can participate in all kinds of tourism activities.
