| dc.description.abstract | The Selected Chronicles of Nusret-name is a historical work written in Chagatai Turkish. There is no exact information about the author of the work. However, based on the information given at the beginning of the text, it is understood that the work was written during the time of Muhammad Shaybani Khan, the first son of Shah Budaq Sultan, the son of Abu'l-Khayr Khan. Written in 908 AH (1502 CE), the work contains information on various issues such as Genghis Khan and his genealogy, the Epic of Oghuz Khagan, the names and branches of the Turkish and Mongolian tribes, the conquests of Genghis Khan, his sons, and his grandchildren, and the period and conquests of Muhammad Shaybani Khan. In this study, the work registered in the British Library with the number Or. 3222 was transferred to Latin letters with transcription; the grammar features in the work were examined under the phonetic and morphology headings; personal names, place names, tribe names, and other proper names in the work are given under the title of Proper Nouns Index in alphabetical order. The work, which was written in Chagatai Turkish, is an important source reflecting the Central Asian Turkish language of the 16th century, both in terms of Central Asian Turkish History and the language of the period. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Tevârîh-i Güzîde-i Nusret-nâme, Çağatay Türkçesiyle kaleme alınmış tarihî bir eserdir. Eserin müellifi ile ilgili kesin bir bilgi yoktur. Ancak metnin başında verilen bilgilerden yola çıkarak eserin Ebu’l-Hayr Han’ın oğlu Şah Budag Sultan’ın birinci oğlu Muhammed Şibani Han zamanında yazıldığı anlaşılmaktadır. H. 908 (M. 1502) yılında yazılan eser; Cengiz Han ve şeceresi, Oğuz Kağan Destanı, Türk ve Moğol kavimlerinin adları ve şubeleri, Cengiz Han’ın, oğullarının ve torunlarının fetihleri ve Muhammed Şibani Han dönemi ve fetihleri gibi bilgileri barındırmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, British Library Or. 3222 numarada kayıtlı olan eser transkripsiyonlu olarak Latin harflerine aktarılmış; eserdeki dil bilgisi hususiyetleri ses ve şekil bilgisi başlıkları altında incelenmiş; eserde geçen kişi adları, yer adları, kavim adları ve diğer özel adlar alfabetik sıraya uygun bir şekilde Özel Adlar Dizini başlığı altında verilmiştir. Eser, hem Orta Asya Türk Tarihi açısından hem de bu dönemin dili olan Çağatay Türkçesiyle kaleme alınmış olması sebebiyle 16. yüzyılın Orta Asya Türk dilini yansıtan önemli bir kaynaktır. | en_US |
