ÇAĞDAŞ TÜRK RESİM SANATINDA MOTİF ÖĞESİ
Motifler bir toplumun kültürü hakkında bilgi veren, toplumun günlük kullanım
nesnelerinden sanat eserlerine kadar çok farklı alanlarda uygulama alanı bulan
geleneksel bir değer sistemidir. Türk kültüründe önemli bir yere sahip olan motiflerin
yüzyıllardır resim sanatında da plastik öge olarak sanatçılar tarafından kullanıldığı
görülmektedir. Cumhuriyet dönemi ile tuval resminde ilk örnekleri görülmeye
başlayan motifler çağdaş Türk resim sanatında giderek daha fazla kullanılmaya
başlandığı anlaşılmaktadır. Özellikle altmışlı yıllarda uygulama açısından resim
sanatında modern sanatın estetik biçimciliğine karşı olarak geleneksel olandan
yaralanarak motif unsuru kurgu ve kavram açısından yeniden ele almışlar ve yeni bir
şekilde yorumlamışlardır. Çağdaş Türk resim sanatında resimlerinde geleneksel
motiflere yer veren sanatçıların tespit edilmesi amacı ile yapılan bu araştırma dört
bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm de giriş, araştırmanın amacı, önemi, yöntemi,
sınırlılıkları, sayıltıları, örnekleminden, ikinci bölümde motif kavramı ve tarihsel
süreçteki motif örneklerinden, üçüncü bölümde çağdaş Tük resim sanatında motif
ögesine rastlanan sanatçıların eserlerinin analizlerinden, dördüncü bölümde Hayriye
Sirkeci’nin resimlerinin incelenmesi yapılmıştır. Literatür taraması ve doküman
incelemesi yoluyla sanatçılar ve eserlerine ulaşılmıştır. Sanatçıların seçtikleri motif
unsuru sanatsal bir eleman olarak nasıl kullandıkları ayrıca geleneksel bir bezeme
unsuru olarak kullanılmış olan bu unsurlarının, çağdaş Türk resim sanatında yeni bir
yaklaşım ile kurgu ve kavram olarak nasıl yorumladıkları ortaya konmuştur. Çağdaş
Türk resminde incelenen örneklerde hem geleneksel motiflerin hem de motif
anlayışıyla düzenlenen formların kullanıldığı araştırma sonucunda ortaya çıkmıştır.
THE MOTIVE ELEMENT IN CONTEMPORARY TURKISH PAINTING ART Motifs are a traditional value system that gives information about a community culture and finds application in many different areas from social life objects to art products. It is seen that the motifs, which have an important place in Turkish culture, are used by the content as a plastic element in the art of painting. It is understood that the initial motifs, in which the first examples were seen in canvas painting during the Republican period, began to be used more and more in contemporary Turkish painting. Especially in the sixties, they reconsidered the motif element in terms of fiction and concept and interpreted it in a new way by benefiting from the traditional one, against the aesthetic formalism of modern art in the art of painting in terms of practice. This research, which was carried out with the aim of determining the artists who include traditional motifs in the paintings of contemporary Turkish painting, consists of four parts. In the first part, the introduction, purpose of use, usage, limitations, assumptions, protection, the concept of motif in the second stage and examples of motifs in the past, in the third part, the analysis of the contents of the artists whose motifs are encountered in contemporary Turkish painting, and in the fourth part according to the characteristics of Hayriye Sirkeci's paintings. Its components and components have been reached by examining the literature uses and documents. It has been revealed how the artists' attitudes as an artistic element, the motif element they live in, and how these elements, which are used as a traditional decoration element, are interpreted as fiction and concept with a new approach in contemporary Turkish painting art. The results of the research have emerged by using both traditional motifs and forms arranged with a motif understanding in the paintings examined in contemporary Turkish painting.
