Özet
Popülizmin gündelik siyasetin normal bir unsuruna dönüşmesi araştırmacılar tarafından popülizme gösterilen ilginin artmasına neden olmuştur. Popülizm yıllar içerisinde giderek büyüyen ve kavramsal açıdan giderek çeşitlenen bir literatüre sahiptir. Bu çalışmada Web of Science veri tabanında bulunan popülizm ile ilgili çalışmaların özellikle anahtar kelimeleri bağlamında bibliyometrik analiz ile incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Popülizm literatürünün çok uzun bir tarihsel geçmişe sahip olması nedeniyle çalışmaya zaman kısıtlaması getirilmiştir. Bu bağlamda çalışma 2014-2023 yılları arasını kapsamaktadır. Bu sayede özellikle 2016 sonrası çalışma sayısında ciddi bir artış görülen popülizm literatürünü artış döneminde ve sonraki yıllardaki niceliksel gelişiminin ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma 2014-2018 ve 2019-2023 yılları arasını anahtar kelimeler bağlamında ayrı ayrı ele alarak popülizm literatüründeki kavramsal değişimi ve anahtar kelime bağlantılarını ortaya koymaktadır.
The transformation of populism into a normal element of daily politics has led to increased interest in populism by researchers. Populism has a literature that has been growing and conceptually diversifying over the years. In this study, it is aimed to examine the studies on populism in the Web of Science database with bibliometric analysis, especially in the context of their keywords. Due to the fact that populism literature has a very long historical background, a time limitation was imposed on the study. In this context, the study covers the period 2014-2023. In this way, it is aimed to reveal the quantitative development of the populism literature, which has seen a significant increase in the number of studies especially after 2016, during the increase period and in the following years. The study reveals the conceptual change and keyword connections in the populism literature by examining the years 2014-2018 and 2019-2023 separately in the context of keywords.
