Tatil sürecinde sergilenen liminoid (Geçiş dönemi) davranışların turistler üzerine etkileri

Turizm, beşeri sistemlerden oluşan, farklı kültürlerden bireylerin geçici süre ile bir arada aynı destinasyonda bulunmaları ile oluşmaktadır. Turizm faaliyetine katılan turistlerin, tatil dönemlerinde günlük yaşantılarından farklı bir psikoloji içerisine girip farklı davranışlar sergilemeleri kaçınılmaz bir durum olmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı, turistlerin tatil dönemlerinde sergilemiş oldukları geçici davranışların turizm içerisinde incelenmesidir.Turizm, bireylerin ihtiyaçlarını giderdiği beşeri bir faaliyettir. Turizmde birbirini tanımayan bireyler kısa bir süreliğine aynı ortamı paylaşırlar. Bu özelliklerinden dolayı psikoloji bilimi içerisinde yer alabilmektedir. Bireylerin, turist statüsündeyken sergilemiş oldukları farklı duygu durumları ve davranış modelleri turizm faaliyeti içerisinde görülebilen, psikolojik alanda liminoid davranış modeli olarak nitelendirilen, geçici ancak birey üzerinde uzun süreli etkili olan geçiş dönemi davranış modelidir. Araştırma sonucunda tatil dönemine ilişkin beş tür (hazcılık, gizlilik, tolerans-kuralsızlık, kimliğinden sıyrılma, oyun-oyuncu) liminoid davranış modeli tespit edilmiştir. Sergilenen bu davranış modellerinin turistlerin, cinsiyet, yaş, medeni durum, ırk, gelir durumu ve turizm faaliyetini gerçekleştirme amacına göre sergilendiği sonucuna varılmıştır. Yapılan bu araştırma nicel araştırma deseninde tasarlanmış olup betimsel yöntem ile nedensel karşılaştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veri edinme tekniği olarak anket yönteminden yararlanılmıştır. Tesadüfi olmayan örnekleme yöntemlerinden kolayda örnekleme yöntemi tercih edilmiştir.

Tourism consists of human systems, individuals from different cultures, being temporarily together in the same destination. It is inevitable for the tourists participating in tourism activities to enter into a different psychology from their daily lives and exhibit different behaviours during the holiday periods. The aim of the study is to examine the temporary behaviors of tourists during their holiday periods in tourism. Tourism is a human activity that meets the needs of individuals. In tourism, individuals who do not know each other share the same environment for a short time. Because of these features, it can be included in the science of psycohology. It is a transitional behavior model that can be seen in tourism activity, characterized as a liminoid behavior model in the psycohological field, which is temporary but has a long-term effect on the individual. As a result of the research, five types of liminoid behavior models (hedonism, secrecy, tolerance-lawlessness, disidentification, gamer-player) related to the holiday period were determined. It has been concluded that these behavioral models exhibited according to the tourists' gender, age, marital status, race, income status and the purpose of performing the tourism activity. This research was designed in a quantitative research design and the descriptive method and the causal comparison method were used. Questionnaire method was used as data acquisition technique. Conveience sampling method, one of the non-random sampling methods, was preferred.
